“Outstanding”

Excellent family run Riad. A few minutes walk to Bab Boujloud. Convenient as it is accessible by car. Facilities are very good, beautiful well maintained riad. The decorations and tiling work is beautiful. Beautiful view from the rooftop. Breakfast is excellent and staff are very polite and attentive. We were even given a packed breakfast to take for our early flight.

One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had! The hospitality is top notch and the Dar itself if beautiful. Huge mention to the entire staff for bring present at all times and also offering tea and biscuits all day round.

“An espectacular stay”

You get the royal treatment. The whole experience is awesome and the staff treats you like an 5 star hotel, taking care of everything you might need. The food is 11/10 and it's very close to the major attractions. They greet you with a traditional tee and biscuits, the rooms are nice and everything is super clean.

“We loved our stay in this family guest house”

Everything was perfect, this "Dar" is a family guest house where you really feel welcome and at home. The whole family is very nice and helpful. We stayed in the suite Fatima, beautiful bedroom on the terrace, you have everything inside. The breakfast is amazing. We booked a transfer and a tour guide with them, I really recommend it. Our driver and our guide were very professional and nice.

I have so much to say, but simply thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Yousef, Namir, and Houria. Your kindness, hospitality, and smiles made our stay exceed all our expectations. Yousef is an exceptional young man: his smile and calm nature make you feel completely at ease. Namir is an incredibly attentive host: he was always ready to help with any request. Houria… how can we ever forget your delicious dishes? Everything was perfect, especially the dinners: we dined two nights at the riad with attention to every detail, feeling just like at home. They even prepared breakfast to-go for 6:00 AM on the morning of our departure. Yousef greeted us with kindness and a smile. The riad’s location is excellent. Every detail of the riad was delightful; both my mother and I loved everything.

We totally loved our stay here. It was quite the challenge to choose a riad in Fes and we are super happy we landed on this one. The hospitality is truly on another level. The host is soooo kind and his passion lies within this riad. The room was very comfortable and clean. The room, as is the entire riad, was beautifully decorated. We even had a private roof terrace. The breakfast was amazing, but even better was the dinner. They make everything fresh that day and make authentic Moroccan food. This riad really was the highlight of our trip to Morocco.

“The most beautiful and friendly place in Fez”

The hotel is very beautiful and located is great. Close to the market/ blue gate but still far enough to have a quiet peaceful atmosphere The staff members were very friendly. They upgraded our room (we didn't ask for) The room was gorgeous. Tne of the most beautiful room we ever had in Fez. We highly recommend and we will definitely come back. From now and on this is our place in Fez😍

“Great stay, nice location and truly amazing and welcoming host!”

The location was great, just outside the entrance of the medina of Fes. But the greatest part was the host, he was always happy to help, arrange things for us and gave great advices, from where to but the spices, pastries, what to avoid. All his recommendations were of amazing quality and were not tourists traps. He also found an amazing chauffeur who guided us around Fes for a tour. I really recommend this place!

Namir and his family made our stay very comfortable. He came and met us and helped park the car less than 100 m away. His residence is beautifully appointed and rooms were very comfortable. Very central location, only five minute walk to souks. Lovely breakfast served.

“Very nice riad to stay for few days”

Very friendly stuff! They even helped us to find free parking spot on public parking and went for our luggage and us so we don't get lost. Breakfast are very good, typical Moroccan bread with jam and honey. Rooms are enough for 2 people, both room and toilet are clear.

“The perfect riad for a Fes stay in the old town - with excellent guest care thrown in!”

We were very surprised to read on TripAdvisor another guest's recent critical review of this lovely riad. It stands in stark contrast to the vast majority of very positive reviews, which accurately reflect our own experiences from a 3-night stay. Such reviews often reveal more about the individual writing it; the type of riad experience that person expects probably won't be provided by an authentic, historical property in the old town. Sure, you won't find everything shiny and new, but we want the authenticity, value the uniqueness of each property, the story its wear and little imperfections hint at, of a long life and many travellers passing through over the years. If you want new, white and shiny there are plenty of bland, anonymous places to stay. Old and worn is not the same as unclean; we were more than happy with the cleanliness. From start to finish we found Namir to be welcoming and helpful. We parked our car a distance away while we walked to find the place, then asked about where best to park. Namir personally drove me to where our car was parked, then asked me to follow him to parking just down the street from where we were staying. He then transferred our heavy bags into his smaller car, and drove them up the narrow alley to the door of the riad. Namir and his staff were like this throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble and it was so obvious their desire was to serve us in the best way possible. Fellow guests had their car towed after inadvertently parking in front of a nearby government building; Namir could not have been more helpful to advise, reassure and help them retrieve their vehicle the next morning. As this review is now long, we won't repeat the many lovely comments others have made about the property itself, but we resonate with all that's been observed - it's a lovely place to stay, in a great location.

“Friendly guest house in a central medina location”

The breakfast was basic but satisfactory. The coffee was of good quality. The dinner upon my arrival was of good quality. The room was sufficiently big and quite. The staff war friendly and forthcoming.

We have had the most wonderful stay at this guest house. The owner and his wife made us feel so welcome and couldn't do enough to help. We came with our own car, which the owner helped us park in a great safe location. The property is beautiful and immaculate with super comfy beds and hot showers. We ate both nights at the property because we wanted to try homemade cooking and it didn't disappoint.  The tagines and starters we ate were delicious. We had tried similar in restaurants but homemade is next level. I am unable to eat gluten and they made some amazing breads for me. We also asked the owner to organise us a guide who was local, extremely knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this guest house.
