The quietness and the remoteness are very special. We very much enjoyed the ambiance and the rural atmosphere. We felt like we had the site for ourselves most of the time, and I need to highlight the pool and the nearby viewing point.

There was so much to love about Son Vives! It's in absolutely beautiful grounds in the hills - very remote and very peaceful. The breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice and really tasty - we also had dinner a couple of nights and it was really good food (especially the sage and squash ravioli!). The room was a great size, with air con and a big patio - we were lucky that our patio largely sheltered us from the wind so it was lovely to relax in the sun. The bathroom was great, really good pressure from the shower and heated up quickly. Room was very clean too and kept clean from daily visits from the housekeeping team. We also got massages which were brilliant, I felt so relaxed during and after - they adapted the massage for me (I'm 5 months pregnant!) which was great too. Check in and check out was super easy too.

Owners of the property are very friendly, attentive and helpful. Great choice of locally sourced food for breakfast and dinner. We had opportunity to have one dinner and it was worth it. Very nice plating, good size portion and tasted lovely. Compliments to chef. Table setting with view of setting sun, mountains and sea. Place is very relaxed and quiet. Ideally to have your own transport and you can get within 20min to all over the island. About 30min to the airport. I would recommend. Thank you

The location of the property was absolutely perfect for getting around the island and the views from the hotel were stunning. It was so nice to wake up to the sounds of the farm animals and birds, and we even had some grazing cows greet us at our balcony. The staff were so friendly and we had our beds made and rooms cleaned daily. Breakfast was amazing, I liked the variety of the selection of fruits, cakes, cheese etc. We even got massages organised via the property.

I cannot say enough good things about Son Vives, honestly. The drive up the hill takes you to a beautiful private entrance, at the end of which lies a beautiful property with 360 views of gorgeous layered farmland and the sea beyond. The staff are amazing, kind and friendly and they really made us feel like home. The room was spotless clean every day and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our day, with a rich menu including homemade sweets and the possibility to order warm dishes from the open kitchen. The rooms were super quiet and the night sky an absolute delight. Will definitely return and 100% recommend.

A great family run 'finca' hotel in a quiet rural location with stunning views of the area and coast. The room was very clean and all the staff were really friendly and helpful and, despite our limited Spanish, communication was not a problem. The buffet style breakfast was fantastic, with a good range of food including cereals, fruits, meat, "cake' and freshly cooked eggs and local cheese available.The evening meals, booked in advance and prepared to order by their talented young chef, were delicious. The tour of the 'farm' by Tomeo, and his cute little dog, was excellent. Situated fairly centrally in Menorca and just a 5 minute drive from the main road it was a great base from which to visit the rest of the island. There was ample free parking for our hire car and the free WiFi was a bonus!
