We thought the property would be charming but it was dark and gloomy. Unfortunately the host didn’t come to greet us to show us where anything was but there were very few glasses (1 thimble…) and not even a bottle of water. Furthermore, the host did not mention that there are absolutely no shops anywhere near and we did not have a car so had to go to a restaurant about half a mile away (walking) to buy water and bread from them! The host should review the inventory of glasses and cutlery and would benefit from leaving a bottle of water at the least!
