Overview
This traditional hotel is set in the peaceful town of Fermoselle, surrounded by the stunning natural landscape of the Arribes del Duero nature park, near the border with Portugal. La Posada is housed in a traditional country property dating back more than 100 years. The original atmosphere of the house has been conserved, using stone, wood and earth materials in the interior design. Visit the tranquil towns of the region and cross over the river into Portugal to explore the International Dauro Nature Reserve. The hotel is located near the city of Zamora and with reaching distance of historic and monumental Salamanca.

Quiet location on hillside views of countryside. 5 minute walk into Femoselle. Parking outside property. Lovely historic building. There had been a little mix up with our booking but the staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. Enjoyed a very good dinner in the restaurant.

“Wonderful”
This is a family run hotel in a great location. Ample free parking. 10 minute stroll into the village.Beautiful place to stay and explore the village with a history of underground wine cellars. Numerous walks in the area, very close to the border and the Douro valley. Great for raptor bird watching. Isabelle and her team make you feel at home.

“Warm host, great restaurant, stunning views”
Izabela, the owner, greeted us with genuine warmth and kindness, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The restaurant and food were excellent, the décor unique and tasteful, and the view from the outdoor terrace absolutely breathtaking.

“A handsome building, a sun terrace and a comfortable room.”
The warmth of the welcome. A large, comfortable, clean room. A terrace where we enjoyed a cold beer when we arrived. A scratch supper of meats, cheeses and red wine, in our room, because the restaurant was unexpectedly closed. The breakfast was very good too.

Nice airy building, comfortable room,and exceptional staff.Reasonable breakfast. Staff and a nurse who was also a guest really stepped in when my wife blacked out. I cannot praise them too highly.

“A truly excellent hotel.”
Fabulous hotel with a great vibe. I think the owner is Isabelle… her personality is all over the property. She is so friendly and welcoming. Everyone who works there are too. The restaurant is fantastic, and the service brilliant. The hotel is situated fairly high up with good views across the countryside. There is a 4 or 5 level terrace to sunbathe , or just get even higher for better views. It’s a 10 minute walk into town centre. The road is quiet and you can be in the car and on your way quickly to visit the miradors, valleys, hiking etc. Lots of free parking. We loved it and I’m a fussy devil. Highly recommended.
