“Calming, relaxing B&B in a good location”

Marie-Claire is the hostess with the mostest, warm, friendly and charming. She offered us an aperatif, (and we accepted). She did her best to communicate with us through her tablet, despite our poor attempts at speaking French. A good breakfast.

Marie-Claire was the most wonderful host. She welcomed us like family to her beautiful home. The property is in the mist idyllic setting with a large garden and lake and we were treated to homemade jams & produce for breakfast & aperitif. The location was perfect for us as we needed to be close to Chateau De Fere and there was a small village close by for petrol & a supermarket. Marie-Claire made a reservation at a local restaurant a short drive away which was also excellent and great value. The room was comfortable with everything you could want except perhaps a tv? If you’re looking for bling and bells and whistles then you need a hotel chain, this accommodation is a beautiful home from home hosted by the most wonderful host. Thank you for letting us share your home for a night.

Wow ! Above all, There is Mary claire ! One of a kind woman ! Her house and her heart are open to her guests. Rooms are big and comfortable, The lake is lovely and the place is quite and wellcoming

A beautiful house on a beautiful huge garden, the house owner was extremely friendly and went out of her way to make us feel at home. the room was nice, large and comfortable and breakfast was very nice.

Everything very pretty room, spacious and very clean . Beautiful gardens with a lake. Marie-Claire very welcoming and fun . We loved breakfast with the other guests and apperatiff each evening . We will definitely return .

The owner is a wonderful, friendly lady. She personally prepares a breakfast in which nothing is missing. The house is situated in a large garden with many picnic areas. We were delighted with our stay.

I was looking for a calm and relaxing place to stay after a long and tiring journey and it was just that and so much more! This place is a little paradise, I loved everything: the magnificient estate with the lake, the house with its history and the owner, a wonderful, cheerful lady.

Room was lovely comfy bed, lovely gardens and property. Breakfast and hospitality was great

Our host was lovely, welcomed us with a drink and snacks, we were so tired we joined her later and sat and chatted. Easy parking right outside so very secure. Wonderful place with parkland and a lake, so peaceful, lovely room with curtained bathroom and great breakfast with homemade jams etc. Off the beaten track in a small village so you really need a car, but easy reach of the main road.

This place is far beyond all expectations. It is surrounded by untouched nature and has its own lake.  A place to feel extreamly relaxed. Marie-Clair the hostess is a loving lady, who takes every wish from her guests' lips.  The rooms are stylishly furnished and have a large bathroom.  The cleanliness is top notch. All up this place ticks all the boxes. We would love to stay there again.
