“An enjoyable interlude in a charming hotel that has been very nicely restored and appointed.”

This is a very well restored old coaching hotel with themed bedrooms and a great restaurant. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the hotel is within a very short drive of Greytown, Martinborough and wine trails. Bedrooms are furnished with interesting period furniture and decoration. Though our room faced the main road it was not noticeably noisy at night.

Charming renovation, spacious room and bathroom. Historic. Featherston is small, so easy to walk to all the book festival locations and cafes.

Beautiful inside. The bed linens are so nice, loved the decor throughout. The staff are super! So friendly and welcoming, also just really good at their jobs. Thank you!

Had a light meal in restaurant, veery nice menu. The room was tastefully decorated .steampunk.

Loved the decor of the hotel, so cool to see all the wee touches. Shout out to our lovely restaurant hostess, didn’t get her name but she was amazing as the power went out in the middle of dinner ,the restaurant had a kids birthday party going on and other dinners, she was so cool calm and collected, we soon had beautiful candles on the table which added to the over alll feel of the place , and the staff did as good as they could in the kitchen to get us something to eat,

The rooms were so awesome such cool decor, the man who checked us in was amazing! So friendly and helpful nothing was a problem. Delivered an iron to our room. The best service I’ve experienced in a long time.

The Duty Manager at the time of our stay was lovely, friendly and obliging The rooms were lovely, not particularly big but ample for a couple of nights - shower was awesome Didn't dine
