“Immersed in the landscape a beautiful haven of calm and comfort”

Beautiful location by the sea, wild and rugged wrapped by nature. The room was extremely tastefully decorated reflecting the surrounding landscape. The beds super comfy. Lovely welcoming staff and excellent dinner.

Incredible remote location with amazing views all around. We loved looking out at the mountains and water from our balcony, watched otters play as we had breakfast and my boyfriend enjoyed a cold swim (which could then been followed up with a sauna). The staff were all super friendly and we had a delicious 4 course dinner one evening too which felt extra special.

The welcome. The road had been tough, my condition was poor but I was taken in so kindly. The room and the view, amazing. Access to the sauna and the sea. Did I say the view? And the comfort? Duvets like clouds. I went in very wet from Norwegian rain and simple things like a deep mat, proper space for clothes, adjustable heaters and decent showers made it so easy. Plus the views! Over open water to the hills. It looked and felt like rainy cold stunning Norway with all the benefits of warmth and comfort. The food in the restaurant was also quite superb. A well thought out menu and beautifully presented.

This hotel has a main building with a restaurant and the reception in it. The sleeping quarters are a number of small bungalows as well as a motel-like building with rooms up and down. We were in the latter. The room was very nice. Very clean, all amenities available, including a Nespresso machine with the capsules to go with it. Very comfortable bed. Nice little balcony with seaview, although the weather did not invite us out. The restaurant is good. We had dinner and breakfast there, and the food was great. I recall the outstanding sourdough with the dinner, as well as the tasty herring for breakfast. This hotel is run by a couple of very enthousiastic young people that really are making the effort, and that shows. We had a great stay and would stay here again.

Right on the sea front with great views from a comfortable and spacious room. The balcony overlooks the fjord with outdoor chair and table. Nicely furnished room with very comfortable bed, sitting chairs. Also a Nespresso coffee machine in the room. Excellent restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast was wonderful. Sauna and area for seating.

Beautiful hotel by the coast with a lovely room with ocean views and a spa with an outdoor area to swim. Exceptional food made from locally inspired ingredients and the staff, especially the head chef, were super nice.

Very well maintained rooms overlooking the bay and the mountains. Great beds. Seagulls nesting on the beautiful grass roofs. Excellent vegetarian dinner. Great value for money.

Amazing hotel in a fabulous location with excellent staff. The room was delightful and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and the evening meal we had was superb. We would definitely recommend it.

This is a beautiful property. We loved it so much we entirely shifted our plans and booked an extra night. The rooms look out across the water and birdlife to distant snowcapped mountains. The room is not large but is very comfy with an espresso machine and a balcony. Parking is right outside the rooms. Breakfast is great and dinner is absolutely delicious. All the staff are really friendly and helpful and very professional. Compliments to the team here.
