“Chilled, relaxed comfort in a place to self-reflect.”

The creativity of redeveloping an old "Cold War/2nd World War" network of Bunkers into a Boutique Hotel was awe-inspiring. Anders looked after us v.well with lovely accomodation/shower, toiletries, breakfasts and many nooks and crannies to chill and relax. Okay, so the residence isnt near any shops, but that's not why you would stay there. You'd stay because of the comfort and solitude. It's also only 10 mins drive from the Ferry to Fårö, which is in itself an amazing self-contained community.

“A lovely escape in Farosund”

Amazing 'modern' building with a history dating back to the Crimean War - fascinating. We had fun playing petanque and pool, and enjoyed walking in the nature reserve next door. Small spa area with a small pool and nice sauna. Nice breakfast, including making your own waffles! Lovely places to swim nearby, including the coast near Ar and the Blue Lagoon.

“Very good experience”

A unique experience to stay in an old fortress. A boutique hotel with on site restaurant, boule court, pool table and swimming pool + sauna. Rooms were air conditioned. Staff was super friendly. A great stay and can really recommend to others.

It was small and by the water. It is also in an historical building. The staff was exceptionally welcoming.

Comfy beds and clean room. Big plus having a sauna and a bbq night during our stay.

Dinner menu is limited but has some really nice food and wine. Breakfast is amazing. The hotel overall clean and nicely fitted out with an unusual setting.

“Beautifully designed hotel in a special location”

Beautifully designed hotel in a quaint peaceful location. Great place to stay to explore Northern Gotland and Fårö. Lovely communal spaces. The pool is on the small side but it was nice to have a little splash in (particularly when it was raining) and the sauna is right next to it. The rooms don’t have windows that open but an air con ensured the right temperature. Comfy beds. Lovely breakfast and dinner. Staff and management were very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend for a two-three day stay.

“Perfect for bikers!”

Perfect base for two nights on our bike trip enabling us to explore Fårö. Sauna and pool were excellent, and the atmosphere was cosy and relaxed. Food was excellent. Anders and Teza were great hosts and made us feel welcomed.

Nice, peaceful place near the sea and nature. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast good and dinner tasty :) We rented bikes, it was good way to explore the area.

Nice and stylish decoration, lovely staff. Remember take a walk to the shore, nice views. Nice and good breakfast (there was not warm dishes but it was still good) Good sauna with elecric heater (opinion from 🇫🇮) and pool, nice pool area
