Eksgården Krog & Rum is located in Gårdby on the eastern side of Öland island. This renovated building dates back to the 18th-century and offers hotel rooms and apartments. The break fast basket was decent . The stay and the location was really spot on with the charm of the ölland country side /farm house feel. It’s only accessible if you have a car but the place itself is a nice cozy getaway

Breakfast basket was nice and abundant, nice to have as we had a cottage there we served the breakfast. we got the dinner served in the cottage as well. good food and very friendly staff.

We were upgraded to a bigger room and the staff was always super nice and attentive. Everything in the breakfast basket was delicious and we loved the concept. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was really confortable, and the common areas are so beautiful that we could have stayed just reading in the garden for hours. We also had dinner at the restaurant one night and the food was good, although a bit on the pricey side. We'll be back for sure.

The breakfast was " top of the pop". Everything is done by love -not just food what is local, but everything- house, rooms, surrounding, people. Nothing from "factory hotels". We felt like in fairy tail. Like grandmothers house were you are always expected. And dogs are expected. And Eksgarden bicycles can bring you for early morning swimming in Baltic see. There are no coincidences. Dinner- we never ever had such beautiful dinner. Absolute service and love without any play.

Breakfasts were amazing, nice location in the middle of Öland close to bigger towns but very calm area at the same time. The place itself is really nice with chairs and tables in the garden, hotel is surrounded by the field that gives really nice sense of calmness, but one doesn’t feel isolated at the same time
