Overview
Housed in an elegant refurbished 1930s building, this hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from Falun Central Station. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, a free evening buffet and free afternoon coffee and cookies. Guest rooms at Clarion Collection Hotel Bergmästaren feature satellite TV and a private bathroom with shower. Some rooms also have a tea/coffee maker and a seating area. “An excellent modern hotel”
The standard is like a modern hotel - full coverage of WiFi, air conditioning, TV with all the app, bathroom with all you need - but the building remained old style, very well coherent with the city. Super the breakfast with all you could want both local or international, good enough the dinner with a little bit more limited the choice (but we joined late, so may be something ended).

“Great place to stay in Falun - good rooms, good food and good value.”
The afternoon coffee and cake was a welcome treat. Both the dinner buffet and the breakfast buffet were ample and tasty with lots of choice and fresh fruit, salads and vegetables. Our room was comfortable and just what we needed for 2 people and 1 dog. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

“Totally worth it.”
Staff, cleanliness and breakfast. I particularly liked that there was a staff dedicated to removing used plates and cleaning tables so there were always tables available. This is rarer than one thinks in hotels, cafes, etc. Parking was also easy (in the summer).

“Best Hotel in Falun”
Location was perfect. Close to the transport hub. Located in the centre of town. Room was very clean. Shower was very powerful. I felt very clean. I found the bed very comfortable and the duvet material was very good. Temperature in the room was just right for sleeping. Nice and quiet. Food very nice especially the breakfast, and pancakes! Staff very courteous. Will be returning.

“Splendid!”
Service was excellent from all the staff. Big + for really hot sauna early in the morning ,and that I was reminded that when I arrived! :-) Easy to access and ok gym, not the biggest . but who cares when you can run through your program and get ready for the day?

“Excellent hotel in great location”
Spotlessly clean and very cosy. Very friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast buffet and a great evening meal included. Also free coffee/tea in the lobby with home made cake in the afternoons. Very central location.
