The view from the property is truly stunning — both the landscaping and surrounding details are well-maintained and thoughtfully designed. The rooms are new and spotlessly clean, and the bathrooms are modern and hygienic. The staff were extremely attentive, friendly, and always ready to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The only downside is that reaching such a beautiful place can be a bit challenging due to its location, but once you arrive, it’s absolutely worth it.

The view is un-matched, the lady looking after us was so kind, welcoming and helpful when helping us take our bags from the car to the house. It was the freshest meats we all all trip at breakfast, the bed was so comfy, the house was beautiful. I can’t fault it.

She gave us a lot of advice on how to go about and even check in on us on our safety (honestly that's really sweet because we got lost on the first day and she came to save us! 🤣).

“Stunning Lake Views and Exceptional Hospitality”

We had a wonderful stay at Villa le Ortensie. The location is breathtaking – set in the charming village of Molina, about 20 minutes north of Como town. Molina itself feels like an authentic Italian village, with quaint cobbled streets and a peaceful atmosphere away from the busier tourist areas of the lake. Parking is on the edge of the village, about a 10–15 minute walk through the picturesque lanes to the villa – which only adds to the charm of arriving there. The villa is stunning, full of character and beautifully maintained. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, with tasteful, characterful furnishings. The bathroom had been recently refurbished to a modern standard and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent – fresh bread, local preserves and honey, cold cuts, cereals, yogurt, juices, and fruit. They also offered freshly made omelettes on request. What truly made our stay memorable, however, was the hospitality of our hosts, Hiranthi and Sylvia. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and special. And then, of course, the views – the terrace outside our room overlooked Lake Como, and waking up to that panorama every morning was simply unforgettable. We would highly recommend Villa le Ortensie to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic Lake Como experience with outstanding hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay at B&B Villa Le Ortensie. The location is perfect, with a beautiful view of the lake, and the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. A lovely place that we will remember for a long time and would be happy to return to.

“Amazing location for a relaxing sentry”

Amazing location with unforgettable view. We had a relaxing 4 day stay in the villa and enjoyed every minute we stayed there. Old stone build = AC not needed summertime. It’s away for the busy touristic areas in a calm village overseeing lake Como. Best is to rent a car to get there especially if you plan to get around the lake easily. Parking is available at reasonable additional cost.

“Best view of Lake Como”

We loved our stay, particularly the view from the hotel, honestly the best view of the lake we saw during our visit. The breakfast was nice and the dinner served one of the nights was great, fantastic home cooked lasagne. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Finally the charm and tranquillity of the hotel was amazing, you felt like whispering in the gardens. It was a valued break from the busy tourist towns.

Absolutely lovely views, nice quiet location. There's a restaurant in walking distance with the best meal I've ever eaten. All the staff were lovely and helped us with everything we needed. Would highly recommend.
