The family , Stefano , Laura , Diana and Allessandro welcomed us so warmly to their spotlessly clean and comfortable close to home accomodation . The views are beautiful . We enjoyed a lovely meal cooked by Stefano . There was so much delicious , fresh food served to us that we struggled ( very happily ) to finish it ! Stefano shares his knowledge of the area and his love of his guests so naturally . We spent a lovely day walking to the church , wine press and wash house as recommended . A heartfelt thank you . ☺️

“Perfect for Strada Regia or getting away from the crowds.”

Host was very accommodating. He was also very knowledgeable about local walks and sightseeing. Breakfast was good. There is a shared balcony overlooking the lake. It is perfect for an overnight stop off when completing the Strada Regia hike. A local restaurant offers an alternative dinner to the host.

“Gorgeous B&B with stunning views and good food!”

What can I say - if you are ever in the area you really should stay at this gorgeous little B&B run by Stefano and his wife! We had a wonderful stay here for three nights, and were very happy with everything. Nice, air conditioned room, a beautiful terrace to sunbathe on (and also to eat a great breakfast). We also opted to eat in the home restaurant two evenings and it did not disappoint - Stefano did a wonderful job of hosting us and serving us delicious food and wine. Easiest access to this property is by car (or motorbike as we had), but if needed there is a bus service that goes down to Faggeto Lario and Torno, where you can easily switch to another for Como or Bellagio if you wish to do a trip without car. It is also possible to walk down to the Faggeto Lario beach, takes about 35-40 min, but keep in mind it is very steep. We walked down and took the bus back up. Thank you for having us Stefano and for all the valuable tips of things to see and do in the area. We really had a wonderful stay!

Very nice and helpfull host who can prepare incredible food for you. Also very nice terrace on which you can eat your breakfast with stuning view on the lake and the mountains.

Everything was perfect: - The hosts are lovely, really good vibes; - The view is amazing; - Beds are comfortable and there is all the necessary equipments in the room and bathroom; - Breakfast are great (home made cakes, toasts, boiled/scrumble eggs, juice, coffee/tea w/wo milk, jam/nutella, yogurts, cereals, ...) and good quality; - They can cook dinner if you plan it with them, for a very reasonable price you'll spend a lovely time with good and traditional food; - You can park your car; - There's an amazing spot for hicking in the mountains; - Lot of restaurants and beach spots around... My husband and myself had a great time at Le Magnolie and we'll probably come back if we return at Como Lago. Thank you Stephano and Laura!

Room and private bathroom were very nice and clean and seemed like brand new. Beautiful view to the lake and mountains from the balcony.

Where do I start... Stefano and Laura are the kindest hosts we could have ever imagined! They welcome you into their home where you can find the room on the highest floor. That same floor has a terrace that you share with other guests and it has the most amazing views on the lake. On sunny days, you will have breakfast there and dinner as well if you would like to. The dinner is optional and prepared by Stefano himself. He delights you with the most tasty appetizers and amazing tiramisu. Also, I cannot forget to mention the amazing white wine that we could not get enough of. The rooms are very clean, have air conditioning and a television. They are very roomy and cosy as well. The bathroom has a big shower and anything else you would need. The B&B which truly is a hidden gem, can easily be reached and for your stay they ensure you have a parking spot right in front of the property. In case you need some advise on what to do during your visit to Lake Como, they are most willing to help you out on where to go or what to do. If we decide to visit Como or the surroundings again, it will be an easy choice on where to stay.
