Overview
A lavish garden setting, a gorgeous turquoise lagoon and volcanic peaks rising up in the distance, the InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa is the perfect launch-point for your French Polynesian vacation. InterContinental Resort Tahiti is less than 5 minutes’ drive from Faaa International Airport. The museums, shops, galleries, market and nightclubs of Papeete city centre are a 10-minute drive away. All rooms have a private balcony with lagoon or garden views. Each includes cable TV and a private bathroom with bathtub. The overwater bungalows have a private sun terrace with direct lagoon access. Guests have access to a diving centre, open-air aquarium and tennis courts. Deep Nature Spa by Algotherm features a relaxation area with steam bath, and a fitness room with lagoon views. The hotel's overwater restaurant, Le Lotus is located near the sand-bottomed swimming pool and offers beautiful views of Moorea. The menu boasts gourmet meals and a selection of fine French wines.

Loved the grounds and setting. On site diving with Activiseas. Food was amazing -we ate in every restaurant including the Tasting menu We were there for 5 days Did the Wednesday and Friday buffet with show. Preferred the show on Friday and buffet on Wednesday. Did an incredible all day tour to centre and out other side in a 4wD truck with 8 passengers Concierge was super helpful and friendly. Salad bowls were huge and delicious.

“THE BUNGALOWS, POOL AND BREAKFAST WERE FABULOUS.”
There were problems at first. They gave me a luxury room, which was quite expensive, and not far from it there was construction work going on on a hotel building. I protested and the hotel manager personally reacted, took action and provided me with a top-notch bungalow over the sea, which was truly indescribably beautiful, with a view of the island Moorea. The pool is also beautiful, and the breakfast was fabulous.

“Best place to stay in Papeete!!!”
Best pace in Papeete to spend the afternoon and evening before flying out at 3am. Absolutely amazing gardens and pools and facilities. Staff across all departments are Fantastic. The different pools are great especially the one with the sand bottom and swim up bar and views of Moorea.

Large bungalow to fit our daily of 4 comfortably. Breakfast on our balcony was awesome… as were the sunset swims . Room was nicely renovated and the bed was incredible! Best sleep listening to the ocean beneath us…

This is truly the best hotel in Tahiti — the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and everything was just perfect! The sunsets here are absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend booking a room with an ocean view — it makes the experience unforgettable.
