Overview
Set in the heart of Eze, this luxury hotel offers spectacular views of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. The five-star facilities include private gardens, outdoor heated pool, wellness centre and air-conditioned accommodation with spa bath. All of the soundproofed rooms and suites are decorated with elegant furniture. They are equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV and a minibar. Guests can choose from four different restaurants, each with a panoramic sea view, serving different types of cuisine. Mediterranean specialities are served in 1 restaurant, while the Café du Jardin offers light lunches. The Bar du Chateau, has a castle-style decor with marble columns and a large fireplace. It features all kinds of spirits, vintage brandies and champagne. Guests have access to Eze tennis club and the wellness centre. It includes a fitness room, overlooking the sea. Massages are also possible on request. Free Wi-Fi access is provided in the entire hotel, and the 24-hour reception can organise the valet service.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Château de la Chèvre d’Or and I would like to share both my appreciation and my disappointment regarding the experience. Firstly, I must say that the property is truly beautiful, and I genuinely appreciated the fact that no unsolicited “upgrade” was made — the room was already so lovely that we even considered returning at the end of our stay on the Côte d’Azur. However, my overall impression was unfortunately affected by an incident during breakfast service. On that morning, as I was entering to take a croissant, a waitress rushed after me in a visibly alarmed manner, making an unnecessary scene to ensure I did not touch anything before she informed me — in a tone I found quite inappropriate — that I would have to pay 47 EUR for breakfast. I then clarified that breakfast was included in my room rate. She told me to “wait outside” while she verified, which I found both unnecessary and humiliating. I reported this incident to the reception immediately, but no action was taken and there was no acknowledgment of the matter. I believe that a guest who chooses to stay in a five-star hotel on the Côte d’Azur is perfectly capable of paying for a 50-euro breakfast if it is not already included. The issue here was not the cost, but the way in which I was treated — with assumptions and a lack of basic courtesy, which is not aligned with the standards I expected from such an establishment. I hope you will take this feedback seriously, as it reflects both on staff training and guest relations, and I trust you will ensure that future guests are treated with the respect and professionalism expected of a hotel of your calibre.

“Amazing luxury in beautiful scenic surrondings”
Amazing room, very modern despite being set in an old chateau. Amazing sea views and gorgeous grounds to the castle. Food was very good, although not cheap and limited menu. Staff were incredibly helpful and made engagement proposal the perfect setting down by the dome. Thierry in particular went out of his way to ensure all went perfectly.

Incredible location and amazing view over the French Riveria. My room was also amazing with private Jacuzzi. All the staff were super friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend staying.
