“Satisfactory one night stop over”

The location was excellent, close to Blaye. The style of accommodation - a small chateau - was a unique experience. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice and big but the shower didn’t work properly and while it was hot it was tricky to manage.

Beautiful chateau, very authentically and tastefully decorated/furnished. Spacious bathroom, nice toiletries and quality towels. Breakfast was full of choices of fresh fruits, pastries, salami, cheese, Nespresso coffee, yogurts, various types of bread. I had a super massage with Marina at the spa, she is very professional and has healing hands! The outdoor area would have been super to enjoy but we didn't have the weather in place!

A very tastefully decorated and furnished interior. We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it. Our host though busy still made time for everyone, and was at hand to advise what to see and do in the surrounding areas. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and varied to set you up there for day.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay in this boutique hotel. It’s a beautiful chateau set in grounds with a nice swimming pool. The hosts/owners were absolutely lovely. They had bikes we could use which was great. They were really friendly and helpful. It’s clearly a labour of love to them. The breakfast was also something else. I’d highly recommend this place.

“A very quiet location but this was very agreeable at these stressful times with covid”

The breakfast was fabulous. A massive selection of Breads from the boulangerie opposite the hotel and a wide range of fresh fruits. All beautifully displayed. The location was about 7km from Blaye . We had a midday meal in 2 fabulous restaurants- the Marina and the Gavroche in Blaye. Then we had a picnic in the château garden in the evening

One of the best hotels I ever stayed in. The owner is very kind and helped us with everything, the chateau is really beautiful (inside and outside), and the served breakfast was amazing. Next to that, it's located at the perfect spot to visit the local wineries.
