Breakfast couldn’t have been better. Fresh sliced fruits and fresh bread. The location was outside Eygalieres. A rustic and interesting large house with large garden

this Chambre d'hote was excellent. Run by a very lovely family who have owned the house for generations. I travel to this part of france 5 times a year for work and will certainly be coming back to this hotel. Fantastic setting and Eygalieres was very close and a perfect fun little French town. Think along the lines of a large group of older / wiser French people playing Bolle in the shade of the trees and a flower filled little streets of busy restaurants.

“Be Careful – misleading advertising information - and no refund that was written promised.”

The accommodation is completely different from what was advertised and what we paid for. So many misleading information was advertised ☹ It was NOT written that the 300m is actually a 20m room inside a living family home with 2 old couple – nice people BUT No privacy at most of the house. NO private bathroom that was promised, but a shared bathroom outside the bedroom at the end of a corridor (need to get dress to go there and back) NO shower but only an old bathtub with moldiness. No privacy in the toilets!!! that has a window right to the public balcony (can be seen from outside!!!). The toilet door can NOT be closed!!! Noise and small goes into the room. Bed was very uncomfortable, shaky, and not the size advertised promised 2m long but was 1.9 (my husband is 1.95 tall and could not sleep straight… ) There is NO air conditioning although it said there is!!! It was hot – and because we had to sleep with the windows open, we suffered from flies & bees during the night and it was unbearable, NO anti mosquito net that was also advertised!!! The kitchen and other facilities are used by the owner. Acoustic was very bad, and we heard the old man coughing all night. Worst romantic vacation we ever had. We booked 3 nights, arrived late check-in at 21:00 first evening and left next morning after 1 terrible night. We were obliged to look for a replacement. The daughter that advertised the house was nice on the phone WhatsApp messages. Apologized and Corresponded that she will fix the misleading information for future. And that we will be refunded!!! (I have it in writing!!!) We cannot stay and would appreciate it if you refund us the remaining 2 nights. We didn’t ask for compensation for the bad experience just a refund. BUT unfortunately, no refund ever occur.
