Overview
Only 2 km from the village of Etroubles, Affittacamere L'Abri features free Wi-Fi and simply furnished rooms with a TV. The Swiss border is reachable in about 15 minutes by car. Rooms are all en suite, while some have a balcony. An Italian sweet breakfast can be enjoyed in the breakfast hall. Guests can relax in the shared garden with a playground, and enjoy free use of the on-site ski deposit. Golf putting greens are found 3 km from the L’Abri. In winter, a public bus to the Pila ski area stops 200 metres away.

“like at home”
the room was functional and with a nice view from the balcony. the host is simply not 'just' doing his job - he lives there as well, establishing close contact to the guests, and hightening the stay to the next level. family-made marmelades had made the stay fabulous.

“What a suprise to find this delightful hamlet in the Italian Alps.”
The host, Eric, was super hospitable considering we booked 20 minutes before arriving (It was a last minute booking as we had planned on driving through to Geneva). He was so friendly even though we could only speak English. He sorted out dinner for us and was up early to serve us breakfast and even played us a tune on the accordion :) And in the morning we had the surprise of seeing the first snowfall of the season.

Spacious, clean and comfortable accomodation. Friendly host. Homemade pear jam for breakfast. Live accordion music at breakfast. Cosy fire in dining room. Excellent location for Via Francigena route.

Beside the Via Francigena, very comfortable stay, great sleep. Eric the host was very friendly and welcoming. The trattoria nearby served an excellent dinner. Would strongly recommend.
