Beautiful 19th century mansion located down a country lane close to town centre. Very friendly hosts who had some good recommendations for restaurants and places of interest along the coast. Our room ( the blue room) was very spacious and gracious and had a large ensuite . There were lovely views out across the town in the valley from our room. A good continental breakfast was included.

The location is quite close to the coast and the cliffs of Etretat. The breakfast was light and healthy, croissants were particularly tasty - better than in Paris. The view itself from the room was beautiful, not to mention the chirping of the birds, sounds of the coastline and fresh air constantly coming from open windows. Much respect to the owners, who were friendly, open and made us feel at home.

It was great! The beautiful house on the hill was like a museum, and the friendly hosts welcomed us warmly. Our room had a view of nature, the sea, and the mountains. Birds were singing outside our window. We enjoyed the house, the hosts, and the trip very much. Thank you to Rafael and Jasmine!

Cozy old house. Everything was clean and tidy, with many antique details and paintings that give a sense of the past. From the window there is a wonderful view of the sea and the cliffs. Breakfast was good and served in a pleasant setting. We felt comfortable and relaxed during our stay.

“The best place to stay in Etretat”

Me and my son enjoyed our staying at Raphael’s house. Raphael and his family are very nice people. The house is super beautiful and historical. I enjoyed mornings with incredible view from the window and birds’ singing. The room is well furnished and you can find everything for comfortable staying. The breakfast is super tasty and beautifully served. I enjoyed a lot our conversations with Raphael and very grateful for his hospitality and help. Highly recommend the house for your staying at Etretat.

If you're looking for a place that feels like it's straight out of a movie, Chambres d'Hôtes les Charmettes is the perfect spot. It's located in a stunning area, although the road leading there can be a bit spooky at night. The dining room offers an amazing view, and the owners serve homemade cheese, fresh orange juice, and delicious bread — the breakfast is a real treat for your eyes and stomach. The rooms are cozy, decorated with interesting art, from posters of exhibitions from 50 years ago to paintings that might remind polish people of Witkacy's style. The owners are incredibly friendly and pay attention to every little detail. If you're looking for a unique experience in Étretat, this is the place to be.

Beautiful old home that has been there for 4 generations, and a walk down the hill to the township and beach. The Jarden d'Etretat are a short uphill walk. Lovely bedroom and view of the sea, and breakfast. Helpful owner who lives there with his wife and boys.

Wonderful room, perfect view, nice host

Both M. Renard and his wife were very friendly and helpful and could give us hints for good restaurants in town. Our room was equipped with everything we needed, were very nicely furnished and provided a stunning view over the town and the coastline with the famous cliffs, especially at dusk. The breakfast was very good with good and fresh produce and we were even asked if we had any other wishes. Parking may be a bit tight when you have a larger car, but is doable.

We were so happy to spend two days it this perfect place. The breakfast was amazing! Thank you the owners Raphael and Yasmine for their care. It was so much pleasure to have breakfast on a beautiful white tablecloth, with such beautiful cutlery and porcelain. The room and its view were the best. The atmosphere of this house and its vibes were unforgettable. Everything in this house is an evidence of how much the owners maintain traditions of their family. We felt like we were living with our relatives.

This hotel and it's owner - M.Raphael - made our stay im Etretat really speacial! The house is beautiful, stands between the pines, with the distant, but beautiful view on the famous rock. The owner very welcoming, also he his family are very interesting people - once I started showing an interest in lovely paintings, which decorate the house, he showed me his ancestors work - all architects, who worked with Cocteau and Shagal, there are still their autographs in the archive. This place would be very interesting for all people artistic or the once, who love art, yet very homey and welcoming
