You will likely be staying in the historical villa near the cottage. We were accommodated there as many of other visitors. The villa is charming, located on a hill surrounded with a beautiful blooming garden. The parking is big. The host was helpful with letting us park before the checkin and providing tourists information. The breakfast was good, the croissants were delicious.

The property was so beautiful and very peaceful! The location was perfect, you can walk anywhere. Marie was very kind and helpful. We definitely want to visit again.

Fantastic central location; we were upgraded to a beautiful villa that was exquisitely renovated. The host was amazing: polite, helpful, gave us great tips about our stay and she spoke fluent English as well. Delicious breakfast included!

We lived in an old beautiful castle in a peaceful place. The hostess was a really nice person. The room is clean and nice. We really enjoyed our stay.

“Charming Villa”

We didn't stay in the accommodation we had booked. Once there, we were directed to a delightful villa on the hill. Indeed it was full of charm and very well appointed. The bathroom was large which was nice. The host Marie was helpful and her English was generally ok. It was an easy flat walk into the town/beach. It was very special staying in such a french villa restored so beautifully.

Terrific B&B. We were well received, comfortable room and delicious breakfast. We especially appreciated the suggestions for hiking routes and restaurants.

Unfortunately we only spent one night here. On arrival, Marie-Clotilde informed us that we would be staying at Villa Eliane, which turned out to be a lovely alternative. The villa is from the 19th century and has enormous charm. The villa is very stylishly equipped, surrounded by a beautiful garden and very close to the center, the beach and the cliffs. I really appreciate the hospitality of Marie-Clotilde, who recommended us what to visit in Etretat, including restaurants.The French breakfast was the icing on the cake. We felt very happy here, if we ever come back to Etretat, we will definitely stay at Marie-Clotilde's place.

“Everything was great!”

I booked a room in the B&B Wood Cottage, but eventually I lived in an old 18th century mansion nearby, because there were some problems with the plumbing in my room. Staying in the mansion exceeded all my expectations!!! Many thanks to Marie-Clotilde for such an upgrade!!!! The mansion is located in the garden, very green and quiet. My room was new and modernly renovated, quite large and cozy. Breakfast was included, it was great too. It was my first time in Étretat, Marie-Clotilde told me what to see, where to go, where to eat, in general, everything a tourist needs. And the next day I had a train to Paris, there were no buses running, and problems with ordering a taxi, so she kindly took me to the station. I will come back for sure!!!

Étretat was the first stop during our visit in Normandy. The town with the rocky shore is simply amazing. We spent three beautiful days here in a villa that is located not far from the city centre but in a quiet and very calm neighbourhood. Free parking was granted. Our host Marie Clotilde was very lovely: she made us outstanding home made breakfast every morning (divine croissont and coffee) and gave us all the useful informations that made our stay in Étretat simply unforgettable: hiking tips, restaurant recommendations, towns to visit nerby, etc. Our room in the villa was nothing but perfect. Marie-Clotilde was a very nice host and served delicious breakfast. That’s something we can’t miss when visiting France of course! The place was very calm and clean. Would definitely recommend! She gave many tips to go out for dinner in Etretat. From the Wood Cottage, the seaside and centre are not more than 10 min walking. You can safely park your car at her home. Thank you for the talks!

“Perfect stay with amazing host”

Such a lovely host! So friendly and helpful in all ways, we couldn’t have been more grateful for welcoming us into her home. After arriving quite late after a 13 hour drive from the UK, helped us get a booking at a restaurant. The room and shared part of the home is beautiful and good location from the restaurants and cliffs of Etretat.

The room was on the ground floor. It was cozy, clean and modern. The toilet is also on the ground floor. On the ground floor there is a large living room with panoramic windows, it was very comfortable to work here. The hosts are very welcoming and nice people. Keep in mind that it takes about 15 minutes to walk from the center to the house.
