The breakfast was great and in a lovely setting. Due to having to leave early for a work visit, they very kindly served the breakfast 30 minutes earlier than normal. Rooms had lots of character and comfortable.

It was an unforgettable experience that made our stay feel both luxurious and timeless.

The grounds were delightful. The owner was very friendly and catered for our large party and even changed a room to accommodate an elderly relative with mobility issues. The breakfast was lovely with a good selection. The staff were lovely

“Great place for short stay”

Setting is great, swimming pool and bedrooms very good. Breakfast excellent! Owner very considerate and helpful. We used it as a break while heading south and then again on the return to Calais.

Amazing, hidden gem. Beautiful place, beautiful rooms, swimming pool, gardens. The owner is a true gentleman, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Really wish we had been staying longer.

The owners were very nice and helpful. We biked from the hotel to Chenonceau and Amboise and they were very helpful here too. The rooms and pool-area was great

“Unique stay in a fabulous chateau - wonderful stop over, 2 nights wasn’t really enough”

We loved the owners passion for his Chateau, he was friendly and helpful and very accommodating. We loved the pool, the breakfast, the grounds, and lots of original features in the chateau - four poster beds, wooden spiral staircases and the traditional breakfast room. Also the village of Esvres was lovely - round of crepes and tradi pizza were excellent for dinner, also if you have kids there is an excellent large park with basketball court and skate park - great for all ages (locates to the north of the village). The interiors might not be what you are expecting in a chateau, but the owners have clearly tried to make it a unique stay!

“An amazing stay wished we stayed longer!”

The owners greeted us and gave us all the information we needed. The pool was lovely and clean and we were provided with towels. We also had access to kitchen facilities and a fridge as we arrived late and could prepare our own supper. The breakfast was excellent, with delicious croissants, homemade conserves, wonderful teas and delicious pancakes and eggs and bacon! Accommodation very well maintained and full of character

“Beautiful Property Fantastic Host and Breakfast”

Great location, lovely grounds, stunning old house and annexes which are all just amazing. The host was super friendly and gave us the tour we needed to understand where everything is such as pool, breakfast area. Fans are in the rooms to help keep you cooler in hot weather. Tours centre is around 20-25mins away.

The chateau (exterior) and gardens are very pretty, the hosts were extremely lovely and accommodating and there were amenities on site (swimming pool, massage, pool) if you wanted to use them.
