“Very Tired Apartment with Questionable Business Practices”
As others have said the deposit was a total nightmare, I hadn't spotted this as we are never asked for a deposit & luckily we had Revolut otherwise not sure what we would have done as it is requested the day you are about to arrive. Deposit was refunded 2 days after departure & communication during this time was zero from the hosts & i was starting to think we had been scammed. The contents of the apartment would struggle to amount to 150 euros so not sure why this amount is necessary? The photos need updating as there is no longer a sea view, the trees have grown & buildings have been built which completely blocks the sea view. Anyway, you can park outside & there are bars/restaurants & supermarkets & the beach within a 5 minute walk. The main area of Estepona with the traditional restaurants in the Old Town is a good 30 minute walk along the front

• Bedbugs in one of the bedrooms!!!! This is the most disgusting thing that has ever happened to us. We just packed our things in the middle of the night and left from there. • The apartment is worn out and in poor condition. • Unpleasant odors on the second floor. • A €150 deposit that I didn’t see during booking, which is completely unjustified for this apartment. • Rude and unprofessional behavior from the host. • The photos are from different apartments — we had neither a terrace nor a spacious living room. We had a small kitchen on the first floor and two bedrooms with a small balcony on the second. We will never come back here. I should have read the comments more carefully before renting this place. Our vacation was seriously ruined by this. I also received inappropriate insults from the owner after writing a review with following text: "Hi Rat , Becouse only I can call you this name , Why you here in my country , back to your fucking country coward , we from our pockets support the food , the weapons ,the war for your country and people be alive , and you come here with your shit education , fuck you desgrace rat" I had to go to the police :(((

“Don't give them a damage deposit”
They kept 50 euro from our damage deposit despite there being no damage. They claimed it was an extra fee for cleaning since we did not do the dishes or take out the trash. We got a lot of aggressive text messages and were called names despite never having met these people. The pool is not actually open in winter months. The property is in shabby condition and the kitchen is like a cave.
