The toaster was broken. Works started on adjacent building and they started drilling at 8 am on the Friday morning.

We were only visiting for one night so it was the perfect, air conditioned, clean apartment in a beautiful building. The hotel staff manage the apartments, and we're very helpful and friendly. Also meant we were able to use the hotel facilities. Great location, bang on the middle of the old town, but on a quieter street.

Very nice appartment in a historical building, well equipped, with big windows to two different narrow streets of the historical centre. Perfect location in a pedestrian zone of the historical centre - not accessible by car (however, a parking house with very good prices is some 10 minutes of slow walk at Plaza del Ajedrez).

Staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, we were taken directly to our apartment. One of the hotel staff, Guillermo helped us with our luggage & settled us into the apartment 😊

“Perfect in old town”

Perfect location close to Flores square. Spacious apartment, beautiful building and entrance. Nice welcome with a starter kit of water, coffee, cereal, milk etc. Very nice staff at check-in at El Pilar hotel.

Mgmt & staff were excellent..they tried to help with noise outside the unit to no avail..this building is not soundproof And all noise coming from outside due to garbage removal is beyond their responsibility. We would return to this apartment if there were less noise. Clean & just the right size for 2.

Loved the location, so easy and convenient to everything. The apartment was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our five night stay. A bonus was a great family photo on the beautiful steps leading up to the apartment.

Beautiful old town property. Well furnished and in a very good location for shops and restaurants and to walk around Estepona. We went at Easter and were lucky enough to see the Semana Santa Good Friday parade which was a fantastic and atmospheric experience.
