“Way below than average, requires significant improvements”
First of all, this property is not fit for families and certainly not 3 stars! The owners are playing word games to indicate that this is a Monteurwohnung, in reality it's a sub-standard with the most uncomfortable beds you'd ever see in any Booking place. Monteurs are also people, who need a decent place to stay. The mattress is merely 10 cm thick, similar to Ikea's child beds, not fit for adults at all. Rest of the place feels like, maybe, the worst German craftsmanship I've ever seen, seems like many DIY jobs went either wrong or left unfinished. Even the electrical wirings at some places were left open, dangling from the walls. The cleaness was also awful. We had to vacuum the whole place again. Essenheim is a quiet and nice village, but next door neighbor is a farmer with loud machinery and tractors, which is a bit annoying early in the mornings.
