“Stella Guesthouse is great halfway stop.”

It is the only quality place available in the area and the staff are very pleasant. It suits our needs perfectly. They are also helpful and flexible about arrival times. They keep in contact as you're travelling, which we appreciate. We also appreciated them asking us the night before we were expected, what we would like for dinner. We were given 2 choices and the dinner was good.

Stella has become my 1st and only choice of preference when travelling within the Ermelo area. This was my third time booking at Stella and I love it. The staff were welcoming, considerate and hospitable. The breakfast was good and the rooms were clean and to the standard expected.

We were warmly welcomed and escorted to our room, asked about breakfast the night before. The room we had booked was spacious and beautifully designed. The breakfast was impeccable and the service during breakfast quite pleasant.

“Home away from home.”

Great service, it was freezing cold. When we arrived the aircon was on in the room and electric blankets were on. The room is perfectly decorated & clean. It even had a iron. The staff is super friendly. There was a massage thereapist available on site. She was great! The breakfast was very tasty & a big portion. It was safe with high walls and electric fence. We will most definitily stay there again. It was a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the guest house. The room was exactly as advertised. Very clean, spacious and airy. The staff was great. The gentleman at reception is amazing! Very friendly On a side note we did not get our champagne and bathrobes as advertised on the site. Please courier the champagne through and thanks😅

The guest house is lovely. The room I stayed in was clean and basic. The staff are lovely, very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is delicious and freshly made. The only negative is the shower in our room-it takes forever to warm up and the pressure is terrible. Next time I will also pay a little more to get a bigger, more luxurious room with a shower and bath in the main house.

Room was not clean, hair on floor! Bath tub did not seal properly, so could not bath as water was running out as fast as it was running in.
