Beautiful historical apartment in the heart of Enna. The apartment is filled with antiques, yet it exudes a stunning modern sensibility. Beautifully decorated by P & G. Modern kitchen and bathroom. Free overnight parking quite close by. Just a few minutes walk to the Belvedere and to the many restaurants that are available to those overnighting in Enna. I highly recommend Al Kenisa… a lovely bar/bookstore in an old chapel.

Our stay at La casa sulla piazza, was wonderful. The location on the square was excellent, and we felt very much in the vibrant heart of the local community of Enna. We enjoyed the cafe roma with shaded seating... throughout the day, dedicated parking for disabled drivers (UK blue badge accepted with print out translation) and the light but refreshing breeze. Communications are excellent re check in, and the apartment is just beautiful. We slept very well here, and like many other reviewers... We regretted only booking for one night. The accommodation and the immediate surroundings are a real treasure.

An unusual and charming, spacious apartment in a good central location. Free parking in the lower part of town with shuttle bus, which was very efficient. Two sunny balconies for breakfast. Great kitchen.

This apartment was exactly what you can dream of in a holiday in Sicily. Old charming building with beautiful baroque balconies overlooking the main square, wonderful authentic design details, very comfortable bed, old, but mint condition furniture and decorations, clean and all comfort needed - in a couple of words, living the Sicilian dream, I felt like living in Malena movie set.

Very attentive hosts, great location in the the old town of Enna overlooking the square. Host delivered delicious home-cooked muffins too!

Fabulous location on a pretty square. Beautiful antique furniture & features everywhere. Extremely comfortable beds & pillows. Breakfast basic but fine, there was plenty of coffee and tea, which was important for us. Left of the house around the corner is a nice salumeria & there are great bakeries 5 mins away if you need more. Communication with the owners was perfect, professional and friendly. Thank you for the muffins! The whole place feels very regal and historical yet homely, we had a lovely stay there.

“Homely but very stylish apartment in the centre of an amazing, untouristy town”

Enna is not an average tourist town. It takes patience to get into the old city and concentration to find parking but the reward is discovering a gorgeous, friendly place with the most stunning views from the Northern beveldere to Etna covered in snow and from the South to Lago di Pergusa and distant countryside. The apartment overlooks the town's main square. It's quiet, beautifully appointed with antiques and art, has balconies to each of the bedrooms and is both homely and extremely stylish. We just had coffee in the morning in the little kitchen and didn't take the breakfast left for us not because we didn't like it but because we'd eaten so well at Ristorante Tommaso the previous evening - only a five-minute walk away and where we met our host who is very friendly and charming. Our host gave us excellent information on how to find the property, where to park and where to eat - Tommaso! Travelling around Sicily by car can be hard going but the apartment was soothing, snug and comfortable - a perfect place to wind down and find calm.

The location on one of Enna’s squares was very good as this meant that we always found a parking space nearby (in late April). The flat has been carefully styled and is very original in design. The suggestions for restaurants were very good and enabled us to enter into the particular character of Enna

“Lovely place for two couples to stay”

We were there with our friends, another couple. There were two double rooms, a kitchen/ dining, and a bathroom. Both rooms were spacious. It was good to have a table in the kitchen/dining where four of us sat, enjoyed chatting and making plans, while sipping wine. Enna is a very good place to stay to visit Villa Romana del Casale in Piazza Armelina. From the flat, it's a close walk to The Rock of Ceres, from where you could see a wonderful panorama of the middle part of Sicily.

La casa sulla piazza is a stunning apartment - we felt so lucky to have found it. Our host was really helpful. We received an excellent little video showing us the apartment from outside and how to get into it. Very useful! And lots of info on where to go and what to do - some of which we would not have known otherwise. Particular highlights were the Museum of Myth and Al Kenisa ( a deconsecrated church - how a bookshop/bar) and the best ice cream in Italy!!

We loved everything! An absolutely gorgeous apartment, we were shocked about how beautiful it is! It’s also in a great location with a very easy checkin and hosts who give a lot of information about the surrounding area - highly recommend! We will be staying here again when we come back to Enna :)
