Situated next to the scenic Rondane National Park, this mountain inn offers an in-house restaurant and individually decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi access. Ringebu village is 40 km away. All guest rooms at Rondane River Lodge - Rondane Gjestegård have wooden floors and views of the surrounding nature. Each room has a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. “Cozy lodge on the Rondane scenic route”
The lodge is in the middle of the beautiful Rondane scenic route, boarding Rondane national park. So it's in the nature, by a small river where you could swim or enjoy some canoeing. The young staff is extremely welcoming and nice. The place is warm and cozy, with a nice restaurant that we do recommend (also because everything else is quite far). We appreciated the traditional architecture and the nice picnic area by the river. Breakfast is great and the view and environment unbeatable. The room is small and simply furnished, but cozy and the bed is comfortable.

Lovely location on the edge of the national park. Alas we were leaving first thing next morning and didn't have time to venture in. Good breakfast and packed lunch. Excellent fish soup and dessert.

Nice rustic cabins, fits very well with the location of the park. Has a homely feel to it. Very friendly owner/staff, who made you feel welcome and looked after. Good home-cooked meal available on site

“Here magic is real!”
The welcome was very heartwarming and kind! The staff even made us a yummie breakfast-to-go when we left! The cabins however, we fell in love with! They were magical, as the location too! Everything was just perfect! One of my best stays ever, even if short!!!

“Cozy cottage in Rondane”
We were on a 2 nights stay to do some hiking in Rondane. We stayed in one of the small cottages, and it was perfect size for us 2 adults, baby and dog. Everything was clean and in working order, and the staff/owners were super nice. Since it was off season the main building was under renovation, and we unfortunately were not able to try the restaurant.

The lodge is amazing! The beds were very comfortable, the view from the window was great and the staff were super friendly. The breakfast and dinner were so tasty and well presented.

“Traditional mountain lodge”
Recommended. Not a large establishment, modern but retains a traditional style with a huge amount of ambience. Excellent breakfast. Not far from walking tracks starting over and below the tree line.
