The accommodation is modern, clean, tidy, comfy and spacious. The kitchen has a huge variety of cookware and utensils. The bath is deep and comfortable. The bed it very comfy. The garden at the rear of the property is serene and quiet. The location is quiet and is a short drive to town. Thanks Carmel :)

Great location, Carmel was a joy to liaise with. We had our initial stay cancelled due to a Total Fire Ban day in summer and Carmel helped reschedule us , including talking to Booking . It's a great place to stay. The rooms are clean and stylish, the kitchen is fully functional and equipped with a lot more than you'd normally need for a short stay. The host is very friendly and providing all needs you could possibly have, she also has a great eye for detail that made my stay very comfortable!

“A tranquil paradise!”

The apartment is well appointed with everything you could want and is full of all sorts of quirky, interesting artwork and collections. The location is in a beautiful, bush valley and the garden out the back is also full of artworks, sitting areas and flowering plants. A secluded little paradise. Carmel is a fabulous hostess and loves sharing the lovely environment she has created. Easter Sunday morning she even gave us a big Easter egg!

The host was amazing! She gave me a run down of the gardens and the wildlife that can be seen visiting. There was fresh bread and eggs, and multiple rooms to chill in. I will be back!

We were met on arrival and given a full tour of the property. The host also gave us a brief description of notable things to see and do in the area. The property was well stocked with everything we needed - including milk, break and other breakfast things. The property was clean and well appointed, importantly there was heating and cooling throughout.

“Beautiful stay in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges”

We stayed here for a full month while working in the Dandenong Ranges and it was an absolutely wonderful place to call home. The accommodation has so much personality and charm, and the garden is truly special. Every morning we woke up to birds feeding outside, and in the evenings we could hear the kookaburras. We also saw lots of little rosellas around the property, which made the whole experience feel very peaceful and connected to nature. The location is fantastic. Emerald is such a convenient place to stay in the hills — there’s a Woolworths and everything you need for daily life close by. We also visited a chiropractor and an optometrist in nearby, so it’s really easy to access services around the area. The host, Carmel, was wonderful. She is a lovely person and incredibly responsive — always just a text away if we needed anything. Because we were staying for a longer period, she even provided groceries for breakfast and cleaned the apartment once a week, which we really appreciated. We felt very well looked after during our stay and truly enjoyed our time here. If you’re looking for a peaceful place in the Dandenong Ranges with a warm and thoughtful host, this is a fantastic choice.
