Overview
The 3-star Logis - Hotel De La Mairie is located in the pedestrian centre of Embrun. The hotel boasts access to Paillotte du Lac private beach area, located a 20-minute drive away, on the border of Serre-Ponçon Lake. There is also a restaurant on the beach and guests have access to water sports. The rooms are serviced by a lift and have flat-screen satellite/cable TV and a private bathroom. Guests can also stay in the apartment or studio located in the hotel, both of which have equipped kitchenettes. The restaurant is known around Embrun for its traditional and fine cuisine, made with daily fresh products. Its 1870s-style bar is also a local attraction. Guests can visit the local market in front of the hotel on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Many mountain and water activities can be enjoyed in the surroundings, including paragliding, via-ferrata rock climbing, hiking, cruising on the lake, and river activities such as rafting and kayaking. Serre Poncon lake is 3 km away and Les Orres and its ski resort is 18 km from the property. Secure storage for bicycles and motorbikes is available upon prior reservation and according to availability. Free parking is available nearby.

“Superb typically French hotel, perfect location, clean and tidy, very friendly caring staff.”
We had a superior double room with air con (did'nt need it) overlooking the square, very spacious room and comfortable bed the bathroom was a little small but adequate, daily room service with clean towels. The hotel is located in the main square which is ideal for exploring Embrun.

Small hotel in a historic building in a very center of Embrun, we had two comfortable quiet rooms. Very clean, nice white towels and linen, decent bathroom and plenty of hot water. There are restaurants by the entrance of these hotel. Receptionists are very helpful and nice!

The staff were absolutely amazing,especially Antony! I needed a space to do a teams interview and I was immediately provided with a room to work from, ensuring I had a great wifi connection and no distraction for my interview. I also needed a taxi and couldn't speak French very well ,the receptionist lady rang several companies to aid me, I felt really well looked after there. The petit dejeuner was very tasty too with some cold meats and cheese, some fruits and granola along with teas and coffee. The room was a good size for a solo traveller and the bed was comfy.

“A lovely experience. Good for bike tourers.”
Room larger than it looked in the photos. Very comfortable, light and airy. Overlooked main square which was quiet. Lift access in renovated old building. Hostess lovely, helpful and friendly and went out of her way to satisfy. Secure bike storage in garage next door. Plenty of restaurants in town. Large flatscreen TV. Good air conditioning but we really didn't need it; there was cool air from the windows.
