“A lovely week”
The apartment was as shown in the pictures. 2 nice bedrooms and a large living / kitchen area. The kitchen was well equipped and bathroom was fine. We enjoyed the views as the sun rose and set and the enclosed balcony is a nice feature. Parking was easy, free and plentiful. The area around the apartment is nice and I imagine the beach park at the bottom of the road is lovely in summer. Embrun centre ville is a short car ride away or quite a significant walk. Parking in town was free and available with a right turn at the first roundabout as you enter town. Embrun is a beautiful town! The huge Super U just down from the apartment was great, even having a bar that showed the rugby! I wish the UK supermarkets had this, I might even enjoy shopping! It was within easy reach of many ski resorts. We skied Les Orres, Crevoux (great on powder days) and St. Jean Monclar (home of a really exciting return lift!). The skiing was great and the drives there, spectacular. Although I didn't meet the host, we communicated via text. He was very friendly and helpful.
