“A great place to stay in a delightful location.”
A great location. The room had everything and was spotless. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and although not cheap, the food was excellent and was well presented. An impressive wine list. Everything was done to make our stay enjoyable.

The hotel is great, the breakfast is amazing, and the in-house restaurant is a must visit whether you are staying at this hotel or not. The staff was always friendly and answered all our queries. The location is a great spot to start daily excursions into the Black Forrest and other surrounding areas. There is free parking nearby, which is a big plus.

A pleasant surprise in a beautiful place to make a stop in the Black Forest. The staff was very kind and helpful and the breakfast was very good. Attention to their guests and details on arrival exceeded all expectations. I recommend this place without a doubt.

Very well managed for a family business. Few rooms but well cared for, from comfort to cleanliness. The restaurant offers an unforgettable experience of regional Black Forest cuisine. Amazing breakfast comprising some of the fine delicacies of the region. Its location just in the middle of the Black Forest makes it ideal for touring the region. Also not far from Baden Baden and a 30 minute ride to the wonderful Freiburg.

Traditional but modern premises close to the centre of Elzach and being adjacent to a first rate restaurant which is part of the hotel So clean and efficiently run special mention to Nicholas who along side other team members really looked after us and went the extra mile Breakfast is a total delight and Jessica is so friendly and efficient

“A wonderful stay”
The staff was super kind, the rooms were clean and bright, comfortable beds and pillows. location is very good, in a quiet spot in the small town, a perfect base for exploring south Schwarzwald. the restaurant of the Gasthaus is amazing, you can eat out right along the river, so relaxing.
