“Relaxing time in the sun”

We had a perfect stay in one of the Spinalonga suites. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We loved the library of books and also made use of the gym. The varied selection of homemade treats at breakfast was fun to try each morning. It was a fantastic babymoon/anniversary with our private pool looking out over the ocean. A very special trip.

The breakfast was delicious every day with plenty of choice and always set me up for the day. The daily fresh pastries, jams and bread that came with your choice of breakfast was a beautiful touch. The setting was perfect, by the pool looking out to the sea…absolutely serene and tranquil. My room was the most beautiful I have ever stayed in, having the use of my own pool was wonderful and I spent most of my days reading by the pool and gazing over to Spinalonga…I can’t speak highly enough of the hotel. The staff were so kind, caring and friendly. I was quite overwhelmed travelling alone for the first time, but all of the staff made me feel so welcome and at home, and it made me feel like I wasn’t so alone as I always knew I had someone to go to if I needed help or just a chat. Thank you Natalia, Kostas and all of the wonderful team for such a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Very private hotel with excellent and friendly service. The rooms are simple and clean. The pool area is cozy, offers beautiful views, and creates a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast is very good.

The staff were excellent, really friendly and helpful. The food was excellent as was the service. We enjoyed breakfast and had a couple of evening meals, one of which was a wine tasting which was delivered brilliantly. The room was good and the memory foam mattress was really comfortable, so we slept well

Such a beautiful and serene location just a short walk into the harbour. The staff were warm and welcoming we will definitely be back again.

The staff are absolutely amazing. They do everything possible to make your stay easeful and relaxing. The location is fantastic, nice and quiet surroundings and great pool area for relaxing. It's also really close to the town. Food at the restaurant and pool bar is absolutely wonderful, as is the breakfast.

Located above Elounda this family run gem of a hotel has commanding views of the town and the surrounding area. We were made to feel at home immediately. The hotel is well designed with apartments spread perfectly over the site so that everyone has their own private area. Our boutique room was well furnished and sizeable enough for our needs and very quiet. We had commanding views and the sun rise/set and moon rises were wonderful. The owners, family and staff are all very friendly and helpful and work so hard to make your stay special. The breakfast setting is out of this world. Your sit by the pool under an old olive tree with those beautiful views, simply amazing. Breakfast is a great mixture from a full english to the more continental fruits, yogurts etc. It is well thought out and utterly delicious and comes with a small selection of homemade cakes and savouries. After breakfast the pool kitchen serves snacks and meals all day until 7pm. You are given a large bottle on arrival and this can be topped up with fresh water from the pool dispenser or swapped for a new bottle. There is a restaurant which serves a-la-carte and special dishes on an evening. We ate in three times and the food is likewise delicious. The main reception building has a well stocked bar, pool table and a really good selection of books for all to use. During our stay we visited the markets and town of Agios Nikolaos, Spinalonga and walked the four miles to Plaka. We ate out in Elounda most nights and there are a myriad of different restaurants to suit all tastes. There are lots of shops and some nice boutiques selling local and not so local goods. Being situated above the town there is a steep climb to the hotel but we managed it without issue, but don't be put off you can get a taxi if needed for a small fee. Regardless of the above I think the thing that made our stay very special was the friendliness of the hotel management and its staff and the locals.
