From the hostess to the breakfast. Everything met our expectations. We had some issues with uncomfortable cushions, but there were different types available for us to switch to.

We enjoyed our stay in Ellenz-Poltersdorf. Host was welcoming and flexible. The apartment complex is located very close to the Moselle. We could see some of the river and its boat traffic from our outdoor table. They are a wine making family and their wine is available for purchase. There is no bakery in the village but our host was happy to add our bread order to her order. The bread was left at our front door each morning – a lovely service. The apartment in which we stayed #1 is simple and comfortable with good wifi and plenty of hot water. It was one of the cleanest apartments we have stayed in. Make sure you take the 5 minute ferry (summer season only) to gorgeous, medieval Beilstein. The ferry departs just 10 minutes walk away from the apartment.

The owner is helpful in sharing the details about the tourist hotpots; it is a charger station for electrical cars available at the place. The room is comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent. The owner expend a lot of time in small details which make the customer feel welcome.

“You cannot wish for a better place to stay.”
You cannot wish for a better place to stay. The host is very friendly and does everything to make it as pleasant as she can for her guests. Everything is super clean. Breakfast is delicious. The house is in a beautiful area on the Mosel. We certainly will come back here.

“A Delightful Stay on the Moselle River”
Our stay at Ferienweingut Klaus Thiesen was a delight. Our room was comfortable and very clean and breakfast was delicious. Our host was always very pleasant and fun to talk to. She also gave us some helpful information and recommendations, such as the KostBAR restaurant at Weingut Schneider, just around the corner. We were, as well, just a short walk from the ferry to Beilstein, thus allowing us to visit the better known village, while sleeping in the quieter village of Ellenz.
