A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. The bedrooms are small but well decorated. The staff are really helpful and do everything they can to ensure you have a wonderful stay. We particularly enjoyed their cookery course which includes going to the market and choosing your favourite ingredients so that you make dishes you really love - that makes such a difference. The restaurant manager Roshan was particularly helpful, offering lots of advice about things to do in Ella and in other parts of Sri Lanka and organising a driver for us. It was my daughter's birthday while we were staying and the hotel presented her a lovely birthday cake at breakfast which was so kind. It's a bit of a hilly walk into town but of course lots of tuktuks. Views from the pool are beautiful.

The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. They took their time to make our stay even better. The food and breakfast was delicious. We even took part in a Sri Lankan cooking class with a chef from the hotel which was an amazing experience, we made so much incredible food. I strongly recommend booking a stay at O2 villas

I strongly advise against staying at O2 Villas Sigiriya. During our stay, €150 was stolen from our room. This is absolutely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the safety and security of this hotel. What is even worse is the complete lack of professionalism afterward, we reached out to the hotel multiple times, and they have simply stopped responding. No explanation, no apology, no accountability. This experience completely ruined our stay. If you value your belongings and expect basic customer service, avoid this place at all costs.

“Amazing!”
Had a lovely stay here, staff were very attentive and helped us with anything we needed. Pool was amazing and the restaurant was also great to have there on site, great views from both. The hotel is slightly out of the main town but is only a quick and cheap tuk tuk ride to get there and means the hotel is very peaceful so we liked it that way.
