We had a lovely three days staying at Misty Elegance. The rooms are well appointed and ours had a fridge. It is a short walk from the main part of town which meant that it was quiet at night. Walkable from the train station.....takes just over 5 minutes.

“Lovely peaceful stay.”
Beautiful place, conveniently located right in Ella but on a quiet road. The rooms are very comfortable and bright and clean. The place is accessible by car, just need to be a good driver but we managed fine. The staff are so lovely and helpful and helped us get our car started when it wouldn’t start.

Very beautiful place and clean rooms. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is clean, you can even shower in hot water! WiFi works great, there is no AC but a fan on the ceiling (this is fine, climate in Ella is fairly mild compared to other places in Sri Lanka). The staff is friendly, they offered a laundry service and even neatly folded all our clothing. Down the street is a welllness-spa as well as an amazing cooking school! It’s only 5 minutes to the main streets with all the restaurants, but still very quiet and calm. Ella railway station is also only 5 minutes away. The owner offered Tuk Tuk transfer to us (but his price was higher than Uber prices, so we didn’t take it). The balcony is a shared balcony and connects to the stairs.

A few minutes easy walk to town, but far enough out to be peaceful. Lovely host who even cleaned our Tuk Tuk for us. Always wanting to help with anything they can.

“Quiet Location, amazing large rooms with staff that go above & beyond”
Location was amazing and surprisingly very quiet considering it’s such a short walk to the Main Street. On the walk home there is a supermarket which is an added bonus as you can pick up essentials easily. The room was big, very clean and had a really big balcony with chairs and a table. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly and went above and beyond. This is definitely the place to stay if visiting Ella. Highly recommend this place.

We had a really pleasant stay at Misty Elegance. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely prepared for us. The beds were cozy. The staff were kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. The location was convenient and made it easy to explore the area. Overall, it was great value for money and a perfect stay.

“Ella is a lovely place, where exploring via foot/tuktuk/car/bus is equally possible. Misty ellegance is perf”
A group of 3 men and 1 woman (German/swiss) here. There was always some staff around for help/questions or just small talk. Very comforting and friendly. We had the family deluxe room. 3 big beds, clean bathroom (funny looking rabbit/carrot sheets^^ - cute to look at). Mattresses felt not overused and made for refreshing sleep at nights. I myself bought some postcards and stamps in Ella but forgot them on the desk in the room. Quickly contacted them via booking/whatsapo and they sent it to our new adress in Matara. Awesome service and eager to help. Once again a huge thanks on our part for the wonderful experience and helpfulness.

“Great location if you want a peaceful nights sleep”
The location was perfect for walking from the station when we arrived. And then walking to Ella’s rock and again to nine arch bridge then following day. We had a really good hike doing both locations. The host was very nice and helpful and the room was a great size. Suitable and perfect for our family of six. We were able to leave ours bags there after checking out before requiring them later in the day before our onward journey. We slept well in Misty Elegance and it was away from the noisy bars and nightclubs of the Main Street in Ella

The Hotel is in a quiet part of Ella. The room was nice, big and clean. The Fan was working well. It had hot water. I did sleep really well. Breakfast was good. Linga was very helpful trying to help where he could and organising local transport. They did my laundry and it was clean. However it didnt smell so nice.

Very clean , nice hot shower , delicious breakfast. The owners were very friendly and helpful with our luggage,including taking it down the difficult road when we left , so our driver didn’t have to come up it again
