“The nicest stay in Ella”

Beautiful family and property, the hospitality was amazing.

This is our second time staying at Eden View Ella & it's amazing. The views are incredible and the owners lovely. The location is great & the rooms are clean & spacious. Definately have the breakfast on the balcony.

This was our favourite place we stayed on our whole trip of Sri Lanka. The views from the hotel were amazing and the family were so lovely and attentive.

We had a lovely stay in Ella, the property is run by a lovely family who cook a delicious breakfast each morning. The location is great, near to the town, but not loud at night. There is a big hill, but unfortunately that is just part of being in Ella!

“Lovely place to stay”

The accommodation had everything we needed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were able to hire a scooter and arrange a couple of tuk tuk journeys too directly from them too. The view was incredible and the location to the town was perfect. The breakfast they offer was also very tasty.

Everything was outstanding!! Beautiful clean rooms, comfortable beds, mosquito nets, hot showers, and lovely outdoor seating. The view of Ella Rock was insane - the best in town! The family running the homestay were so lovely and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, varied, and plentiful. Easily the best breakfast we had during our two week trip. Would highly highly recommend!! Only thing to note is that it is located up a steep hill (all of Ella is hilly though for context) if mobility is an issue. Cars and tuktuks can get up there.

The family running the guesthouse was very kind and welcoming. The location is perfect, everything is within walking distance. The view of Ella Rock is beautiful, and the breakfast was great. Even without AC, the fan was sufficient.

Great view and balcony overlooking the mountains. Great location just back from the main road, restaurants, cafes and shops within 2 mins! Lovely owners.

“Perfect stay - Highly recommended”

We had such a lovely stay at this family-run guesthouse! It’s perfectly located, close to everything you need on foot, but still in a nice, quiet area where you can really relax. We felt so welcome from the very beginning, and the hosts were always happy to help with any questions. The whole place has such a warm, friendly vibe. The owner can also show you around and even take you on tours. We’d definitely recommend staying here!

“Perfect”

It‘s just a minute from the centre & still a little bit higher & calm. The breakfest is delicious and the view is outstanding. Beautiful room with everything needed. Staff is super friendly and ready to help with everything. They have a own TukTuk and can do tours with you aswell.

This was a homestay which means the family are present but in this case to they lived on ground floor and upper rooms were for guests. So it did not feel intrusive. I would definitely use again. Rooms were super clean and very well designed. Location was 4 mins walk from center. Ghedit(spelling) helped with our sightseeing and rest of family were charming. Recommend highly

“Disappointed”

People are generally humble and nice so was the lady owning the stay.

The property is located in a quiet part of Ella, but still close to everything – the Nine Arch Bridge, shops, and restaurants are within easy reach. The view from the balcony is breathtaking, with beautiful rock formations, and having breakfast served on the balcony was a real highlight. The beds were comfortable, and the whole family who runs the place is incredibly kind, helpful, and full of humor – they were always happy to share tips and recommendations. There is also a shared kitchen with a fridge and stove if you need it.

Kindness & great welcome. Good location a little apart from noisy center and quite near of it by walk.

“Superb. So pleased that we chose this”

We absolutely loved this homestay. Such friendly hosts, a really comfortable room with an amazing view from the balcony and a delicious breakfast. Easily walkable to the Main Street but off the busy road. Ideal. We got a taxi ride from the owner on to our next destination in Pottuvil. Comfortable, large car, sensible driving, fair rate, great company. Excellent experience all round.
