Great and quite location, can’t describe the beauty of the view, our room was facing the sunrise, no photos give justice to the paysage. Trust the host Wasantha for transport, he arranged everything to us from our trip from Tangalle, to our return to Colombo and all the tuktuk rides in Ella, the price was very reasonable and cheaper than Uber. The room was clean, we had all what we needed. The team went above and beyond cooking an amazing breakfast and wanted us to try the maximum during our 2 nights stay. The last night they cooked the diner, it was also delicious.

- the kindness of the staff: they helped us with tuktuk services; we rented a motorbike from them and we had a flat tire. As soon as we called them they picked us up with a tuktuk and provided a new motorbike; whatever we needed help with, they did everything to make our stay unforgettable - breakfast: just simply: OMG!! Best food we had in Sri Lanka!!! - the location: the view was amazing, everything is close w a tuktuk or a motorbike - the dogs:) cutest dogs looking out for us front of our rooms hehe

The place had the most beautiful view to wake up to. Breakfast was one of the best, if not the best one, that I had in Sri Lanka over multiple weeks. Wasantha and Susa made sure that we reached all hikes we needed easily, arranged transportation, and were overall very helpful.

Incredible view - worth the outside of town location - so so special. Included breakfast was great and so yummy. The room was so comfortable, peaceful and lovely for my 2 night stay. I could even watch sunrise from my bed. Hosts were lovely and even drove me to my next destination. Highly recommend

The view over the valley was fabulous.

The location was nice with a short tuk tuk ride to the city. The room was spacious for group of 3. Staff was helpful with bookings.

Everything about this stay was incredible! Susa was so helpful with organising tuk tuks, helped us with our bags and made lovely breakfast for us each morning. The rooms are spacious and clean, with the most amazing views of the mountains - perfect to watch sunrise. If you don't mind being out of the town a little, it's honestly worth it for the views!

This is an amazing spot with great views, a little outside Ella. It is a steep climb with stairs to get there but it is all worth it. The breakfast is huge and various with fruit, curry, pancakes, special eggs, muffins, juice, tea/coffee. The staff is really supernice, easy-going and very helpful, they have their own TukTuk and car so they bring you everywhere..also your next destination (ours is Yala). Our room was very spacious with a huge balcony. It’s definitely worthwhile to come back to Adam’s Apple!

“Great stay in Ella”

We loved our stay at Adam's Apple! We were there for three nights. Susa was a fantastic host and brought us the most amazing breakfast each morning which was slightly different each time. The view from the balcony is gorgeous and there are pet dogs who like a bit of attention sometimes. We had a load of laundry done by the staff at Adam's Apple and it was returned in great condition and within 24 hours. Susa organized a tuk tuk driver that we could message any time we needed to go somewhere, so it was handy having that contact.

“Outstanding views and delightful staff”

The views were absolutely outstanding. We booked a large room which had 2 double beds - ample room for 4 people. We saw monkeys, peacocks and many other birds from our balcony. Staff were delightful and very helpful.

We had such a lovely stay at Adam’s apple homestay. The atmosphere was outstanding and so was the staff. It was 30 mins walking from Ella city centre but just perfect to disconnect from the noise of the city.

The location is fantastic, close to Ella only 500LKR to get there and Susa arranged a driver for us there and back. The view is out of this world, we saw the sunset and got up early to watch the sunrise. Breakfast was delicious and they offered us more egg hoppers if we wanted, but we were already full. The room was perfectly functional and they have UK plugs.

Beautiful view, helpful staff, delicious breakfast, amazing surroundings and nature, ideal for hiking. To access the rooms there are steep steps from the street. It s ok to walk up, you just need to know it and be prepared. May be diffucult for elderly people..but all the baggage was brought up the steps by the owners and staff, they really take care of this, we did not carry our bags so you don t need to worry. They are extremely helpful.

We had a great stay in Ella. The mountain view was absolutely breathtaking. The host was very kind and helpful, gave us great recommendations, and even woke up at 5 AM to help with our luggage. Highly recommended!

Most beautiful view! The best of all was Susa, the host. He was very kind, gave us some good recommendations, great breakfast and dinner! There is also a great laundry service, it was ready the next day.
