Our stay at 98 Acres in Ella was a wonderful experience. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views, a thoughtfully designed atmosphere, and a level of attention to detail that makes the entire stay feel very special. The staff were exceptional throughout, warm, welcoming, and always eager to help, which truly added to the experience. The breakfast setup was also impressive, with a large variety of options and a beautifully presented selection. However, we did have one unfortunate experience with the vegetable burrito we ordered, as the filling appeared to have spoiled and was slimy inside, suggesting that it was not fresh. Given the otherwise excellent standard of the resort, we feel this is an area that would benefit from greater attention and quality control. Overall, 98 Acres is a stunning resort with incredible views and genuinely wonderful staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and with more careful attention to food freshness, the experience would have been truly flawless.

This property has amazing views of the mountains and is very spread out and comfortable. The rooms are huge and have a lovely balcony to watch sunrise/sunset. The staff are very attentive and the hotel restaurant and breakfast is excellent. Lovely pool too. Highly recommend. The hotel offers an early morning walk up Little Adam’s Peak at sunrise. It was spectacular.

“Beautiful Views”

The Front Office Manager Pragash was absolutely lovely and very helpful. The restaurant has a great view and the food was lovely. They assisted in organising not just the activities but also a lovely transfer to my next destination. Bonus for those who are dog lovers, their resident dogs kuku and (I'll call him) brown are so well mannered and give you great quiet company during a meal!

The overall experience

“The most serene escape in the hills!”

One of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in. The location is excellent, away from the bustle of Ella but close enough to walk or get a tuktuk in to town in 5 min. Rooms all have the most stunning views of Little Adam’s Peak and Ella Rock, beds are super comfortable and bathroom facilities excellent. The beds are huge, and super comfortable. The hotel itself is incredibly peaceful, all you can hear is nature around you. Breakfast was fantastic (thoroughly recommend the veggie burrito) and the staff were wonderful. Stunning pool overlooking the view is a perfect place for sundowners. A phenomenal escape.
