“Perfect stay in Czech mountains”
Comfy hotel in the Czech mountains in the middle of the forest, standard rooms, small sauna and very good breakfast with champagne. Parking area is big.

“Great location and lovely staff”
Extremely friendly staff, great location, lovely other local guests. We are vegetarian and could find many options during breakfast and dinner unlike other reviews I have read here. Eating vegan is also possible in my eyes. The rooms with balcony overlook the forest and you can see the Großer Arber. You might get lucky with very misty weather as it's on a saddle. For evening drinks we went to the upper OREA Resort (800m away). We will definitely come back as we love the Czech mentality (quiet and humble) and the whole area is much less crowded than the German side.

All the staff, from reception to the girls in the restaurant are very polite. I asked them to give my wife a little surprise and they did a great job. The room was warm and clean (we had the deluxe quadruple room). The food deserves special mention. Every day there was delicious and varied food. For dinner, you can order drinks, including tank beer, wine, juices and water. The hotel is in a convenient location for walking, skiing and sledding. There is also a good and large parking lot. Some might say that the furniture looks outdated in places, but guys, for this price (in our case, we ordered in advance and it was inexpensive) you get such great service. The girls who work there automatically add a few points to this hotel.

“Disappointing”
I expected more from an Orea hotel. They tried to fancy up an old hotel but still feels like staying at an old hotel not a fancy one.

The location is excellent for hiking in the area. Our room was facing the woods without the terrace but it was what we ordered. the room was big and comfortable. The breakfast is standard, it is OK, nothing special. The hotel has a restaurant for dinner and it is very convenient after a day of hiking. There is a free parking
