The location and the views are beautiful and the bungalows are very impressive. Building this eco-tourism project is a wonderful plan and I'm impressed by their commitment to doing it 'right' and making it an authentically ecologically friendly place. Waking up to the sound of howler monkeys is always amazing. The food was nice and good portions. I spoke with Marcel over WhatsApp and he was super helpful in giving me instruction to arrive and getting a moto to meet me in Trompito, and when I arrived Juan Pablo was there to meet me and show me around quickly. Both were very friendly!

This place is full of creativity, soul and spirit. Deeply immersed in the forest. Such care and love from the hosts. It is very basic facilities, which enhances the experience of nature and sense of being in the wild. Wonderful organic food. Good WiFi. Fire. Live music. And unforgettable experience!

A wonderfully beautiful place to just be! You have a fantastic view of the sea and the national park. You can hike in beautiful nature or just lie in the hammock and enjoy this wonderful atmosphere. Incredible, magical, breathtaking place — if you like to be in the middle of nature then this is the place for you!!

A real adventure, both getting up there and waking up in the morning with the forest! Quite remote - you will feel somewhat alone, so if that's what you're looking for then this is spot on.

We really enjoyed our stay with Pablo. Very friendly, helpful and interesting. The hotel is a tranquil and quiet place to get away from the city and enjoy nature. The food and musical entertainment was excellent.

It really felt like heaven once up there. The adventure of getting at the location makes it even more appealing for people who are enjoying an offroad motorbike ride and a bit of a hike. The hosts Marcelo and Juan Pablo are really great people too and will do the best to make you feel comfortable. We will deffo return next year!

The best view of parque de Tayrona, beautiful people. The Owner and staff were awesome peole who care deeply about nature and providing the best experience for you. If you like nature, peace and just enjoying the view you will love it here. Blew my expectations! Cannot recommend it enough!

“Back to nature!”

This is a very unique experience that you do not easily get else where! From the bottom of the mountain going up and until you get down again after your stay, you are fully covered into jungle, tranquillity and no-tourism. Out of the real world and back to nature. The way up is challenging, so do not expect a real road and you have to be in a good shape! It is done by bike dudes that bring you to a certain point up and you finish your way up by yourself. The stay is not a normal stay since the hosts Juan Pablo and Marcel take care of you as a family. They cook breakfast, lunch and dinner (for extra cost) for all the guests with the organic food from the jungle and everyone is relaxing, making music, chatting and eating together. But no worries if you need some privacy, the houses are very nice, build as it used to be in a jungle and the dome is a very unique experience in the forest. You can do some hikes in the surrounding area at the waterfall where you are the only one. The stay is sustainable, organic and self-sufficient, so you drink and shower with the mountain water and the toilet feces are used for the surrounding area to grow plants. If you have a weak stomach, I recommend to bring a big bottle of drinking water.

“Unique, beautiful and comfortable eco-stay in the mountains”

This lodge is an authentic jungle experience, where you are immersed in nature but with a comfortable bed, beautiful cabina, shower, amazing outdoor kitchen, and hammocks with the best views. I recommend staying at least two nights as it is a short moto ride and short hike to get to the hostel. Once you’re there, you won’t regret booking. It’s the perfect place for those who want to spend time in nature, and enjoy sunrise and sunset from the top of a mountain.

The lodge is located within the jungle which makes it a really authentic and adventurous stay. Marcel is super nice and kind. As well the cat is super cute, although, quite greedy (for cuddles and food).

A true ecolodge. Only accessible by foot and therefore in the middle of nothing else than beauty. So different than all the other 100 ‘ecolodges’ that are close to the road or at the super busy hiking routes in the park. Waking up with the sound of monkeys and an incredible view from your bed. Beautiful hikes to make in the surrounding or take a rest in the many hang mock’s to choose. The hosts are wonderful and cook you a dinner, make you a coffee, show you around in the jungle or play a tune at the marimba.

“amazing and beautiful place”

after a bike ride and a hike of 15 minutes you arrive in a very beautiful place. The sound of the birds and the monkeys is simply amazing. The view is so beautiful(especially with sunrise). Juan Paulo and Marcel are so friendly, have a lot of knowledge and because of that we had nice and interesting conversations. also the food was amazing!
