“Lovely quiet hostel, amazing staff, lovely pool”

Really lovely stay here. Very lovely staff - they came and collected us when we were lost and organised a takeaway for dinner for us! Gorgeous dog. Lovely view and pool. Room is comfortable and was clean.

A bit far but is situated in a beatiful surrounding. We loved the place. Nice view and quiet place.

This is a place for adventurous travelers who looks for nature, peace and authenticity. It was a pleasure to get to know the guys (all colombians!) who started this project and work hard everyday to make it a wonderful place to rest, enjoy the beautiful nature of Sierra Nevada and get to know genuine locale culture. A great place to stay before and after our trip to Tayrona National Park (we stored our bags for free here). The views were beautiful and we enjoyed taking and evening dip in the swimming pool. Warm and friendly staff and tasty breakfast and dinner.

The hosts were absolutely lovely, the place is very beautiful (gorgeous view and sunsets), the swimming pool is ideal to refresh after a long day in the heat, and the food was delicious. There are also lots of animals around (a sweet dog, a horse, adorable small parrot, and a tortoise, plus monkeys in the trees) so you really have the feeling of being in the middle of nature. We really enjoyed our time there 😊! Guests should be prepared to walk approx 20 minutes uphill (in the tropical heat) to reach the location. If you inform the hosts upon arrival, they can come and fetch your bags in motorbikes which is very helpful!

The staff were so nice and very attentive. All of the animals were very friendly too. The food was amazing and fairly priced. The pool was stunning and the views were amazing - just like the photos!

The staff is very friendly. This place is perfect voor relaxing and escaping busy Santa Marta.

The surroundings are stunning, it’s an incredible view to wake up to! Everyone there goes above and beyond the to make your stay as pleasant as possible and the meals are really good! Just make sure you have time to relax by the pool and enjoy the place, cause it takes some effort to get there!

“Peaceful and relaxing spot”

We arrived there in the evening and someone picked us up and brought our luggage up to the hostel. It’s a very cute place, with only a few beds. The staff was really friendly. They prepared great breakfast with self made juice for us in the morning. We decided to stay one additional night, because it is a really peaceful and relaxing place. There is a nice swimming pool and a great view in the valley. They even have a horse. Definitely recommended! I could have stayed there for a week :)

“Perfect if you’re seeking a family/cultural experience”

The staff were extremely attentive and super friendly, despite us not really being able to communicate due to our little Spanish. It is a family run hostel and we felt really welcomed during our stay. The pool and view over looking the jungle are also amazing and we wished we’d stayed an extra night to fully appreciate them.

“An escape from modern life”

Unlike anywhere else we had stayed in Colombia. Yes, you'll need to be fit to walk up the path to get to the place. Or you can call the owner and someone will give you a lift on a motorbike. The staff messaged us beforehand with excellent instructions on how to take the bus from Santa Marta. But once you're there - you'll be treated with endless hospitality. Breakfast is included. It is a laid back place, so the best thing for you to do is relax and chill out too. The rooms and facilities are simple, and there isn't any WiFi. You're able to completely switch off and we were kindly given a lift to Tayrona National Park one day. There is so much beauty in the place and if you can adopt a chilled out mindset like we did, you'll be rewarded with some incredible memories of your stay here. The staff would make us lunch and dinner on request as it was so remote. They'd prepare us plates of fruit and juices during the day as there are so many trees around - think coconut, mango, soursop! We had a campfire every evening and ate our dinner around it.

I have been in Colombia for 10 days and finally when I arrived at this place I found what I had been looking for. Peace Beautiful mountains Lovely local staff This place was a dream to stay at and the food served up was also excellent. Eating fresh fish and drinking juice around a fire pit with fellow travellers was a highlight of my trip so far.

I've loved the peaceful atmosphere, the stunning view and being so immersed in nature. But mostly, I enjoyed feeling so welcomed by the stuff and becoming part of this hostel family. I had a big room all for my self at a very fair price. Food was also really good and the breakfast is included. Another plus is the location close to the Parque Nacional de Tyrona and the stuff is so nice that they give you a lift to either of its entrances. Even though I was supposed to stay only a couple of nights, I ended up living there for 1 week. It was an incredible recharge. Highly recommend!

“Hidden paradise”

Everything was incredible. The hosts, the location, the views, the calm and peace. Honestly, this was a little paradise tucked away. I am so happy I found it. I even extended my stay because of the calm energy here. I saw lots of beautiful wildlife. The staff is very accommodating as well. Everything was above and beyond expectations.
