Overview
The Hill B&B (El Morro Hosteria) offers pet-friendly, beachfront accommodations in El Valle - Bahia Solano. The bed and breakfast is located on a small hill on a volcanic peninsula, right on the south end of Almejal beach and has several decks and terraces to help you take in amazing views of the Pacific tropical forest kissing the ocean and the sunset; while allowing you to keep social distance if desire. Ideal for couples or families looking to spent time reconnecting with nature. We have three rooms on the second floor, each with a private bathroom and scenic breathtaking views. For a maximum full capacity of 12 guest. At the hill We have a dog and cats and they are part of the family. Please know that they do not go into the second floor. The social lounge area / fully furnished shared kitchen is located In the upper third floor, where guest can enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast and later on the day, are invited to cook their own food if they wish or to help themselves to drinks from the fridge on a trust basis; making you feel at home. With stunning 360 degree views overlooking the Pacific ocean and dense tropical forest, while being mesmerized watching the humpback whales going by.( from July to October). The newly renovated first floor offers the reception area on the front and art studio / Gallery / Gift shop, where art classes can be arrange. We will welcome you at your arrival with a free fresh fruit juice. We will serve You as a bridge of communication with the locals, We have excellent contacts with local restaurants, tour operators, boat captains and guides that We know and trust, with them you can go to see whales (from July to October), Walk to Cuevita beach to liberate baby turtles(from September on Sea turtles are hatching from their eggs and walking into the pacific ocean), do bird watching, take a boat tour to Utria National Park (where you can see mangroves and do snorkeling), canoeing at Tundo river or visit many of our beautiful waterfalls nearby and much more... The hill B&B is 11 miles from Jose Celestino Mutis Airport, and the property offers a paid shuttle service. Ensenada de Utria National park is a 40 minute boat ride away.

The location was absolutely fabulous. You hear and see the ocean from the bedroom, while at breakfast or enjoying time in a hammock. Super nice host, good breakfast.

“Great atmosphere to disconnect and discover the remote surroundings”
It has a great view over the beach, and almost 360 degree view, the host was super welcoming and always supportive with tips and information, easy to get to and from the town, and a lot of space for few guests, very quiet

The position is unique, overlooking the majestic playa El Almejal. Considering the remoteness of the area and the difficulty of supplies of any kind, the accommodation is pretty good. The view and the constant sound of the ocean make up for any flaw anyway. Monica is a very kind and available host!

“The best place to stay on the beach!”
- the location, right at the start of the beach - the mirador (wow)! With a pair of binoculars we spent hours watching whales breaching and hummingbirds in the trees nearby. Truly incredible - Monica's hospitality and friendliness. When we got up earlier than breakfast time for excursions she had coffee and a great packed lunch ready, and when our flight was canceled she had a room ready for us

The best place we stayed. Monica Was really nice. We felt like home. Incredible view and location. Great cats and dog. Amazing room with beach view. Everything clean. Big bathroom with a lot of space for our stuff. We felt so welcomed... we will come back:-)

The Location! Without doubt the best Location/view in El Valle. Monica is an amazing Host who makes sure that everything about your trip and local tours runs smooth. Every day rooms were cleaned/fresh sheets or towels if needed. A place to Calm down, enjoying the Sounds of the sea. Restaurants are close by. Tours can be organized through Monica.

Amazing hotel in a perfect location on the beach in el Valle. Monica was super attentive to us from before we arrived, helping us organize tours and activities and providing suggestions. The room was clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed the social areas/deck for relaxing in the afternoons. Good breakfast considering the lack of options for ingredients in El Valle. We really enjoyed our stay at El Morro!

“Amazing!”
We had a fantastic 4-night stay at El Morro Hosteria in El Valle. Monica, the owner, is a wonderful host, and the ocean-view room was perfect. The spacious rooms are cleaned daily, a kitchen is available, and Monica prepares delicious breakfasts. Her organized trips, including whale watching, were a highlight. El Valle offers a peaceful, non-touristy experience. Plus, the presence of six friendly cats and a lovely dog added to the charm. Highly recommended!

“Amazing B&B in El Valle!”
El Morro is situated directly at the beach and the rooms have a stunning view! I can only recommend the place for visiting the Pacific Coast! Also the host Monica is really nice and can recommend some nice day trips.

“The Best Views and location to Relax and Disconnect”
The views of the beach are spectacular from our room and social spaces. Everything was very comfortable, and an extremely relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent with fresh fruits and juices cereals and eggs how you like, good coffee etc. Monica was such a great host and so helpful about organising tours and recomendations of where to eat.
