“OK apartment”
It was a small apartment, with a fan, 2 sedes of the building so we could choose the room. Big room was spacious which was convenient. We used a tupperware for the fruits which was nice

“Peaceful and spacious”
The staff were friendly and very helpful, booking taxis for us and generally being great. The apartment was spacious, the bed very comfortable and the bedding was good quality too. Good size bathroom and it was nice having two rooms to spread out in. The grounds are beautiful and it’s peaceful & quiet here, whilst only being a short walk to the main street and things like the thermal pools.

Room is huge ! very comfortable! Very relaxing! even saw a tiny tucan in the tree! Hammock on every balcony! Huge communal kitchen we'll stock!!

Amazing garden including hummingbirds. Also the outdoor kitchen was a nice addition.

We were amazed by our apartment-separate bedroom with a double bed, kitchenette with a big living area with another double bed and a bathroom with a great hot shower (much appreciated after a hike)! All clean.Quiet garden setting off the main road,but just a 5min walk to a nice café and nextdoor bakery.We loved our stay in El Valle and we would go back any time.

The location was exellent. Beautiful quiet garden. The beds were comfortable and the the room had a very nice hot shower! The host was very friendly. Close to restaurants, supermarkets and main road for busses. The trail to la India Dormida is closeby.

“The owners did what they could to provide some accommodation but it did not meet all our needs.”
On arrival, we were told that we could not use our requested accommodation (at Hostel Lopez El Valle) because there was no electricity. The alternative arrangements made by the owner (a detached house) was sufficient to meet our needs on location and comfort, etc; and possibly at additional cost to them. But we had needs that were not met, unfortunately - see below.
