Stayed at Bruno’s place for a couple of days and had a good experience. Bruno is a very likeable and helpful host. The room was exactly as described, simple but clean, and very affordable. The location is convenient and made getting around easy. Bruno also offers help organizing tour pick-ups, but he was just as happy to explain how to use the public colectivos, which I really appreciated. Overall, great value for the price.I would definitely recommend staying here.

Israel was so kind and accommodating. This "hostel" is more of a hotel and I highly recommend. My first room did really smell of sewage, and my stuff now smells, ut Israel moved me to another room wen I expressed concern. If you are in El Remate, stay here! I stayed across the street the night before and it was double the price for the same exact room!

Super friendly host, private room was what you can expect, everything clean with a private bathroom. And there is a beautiful rooftop terrace with a view over the lake. New owner has great vision on making it even better. Would stay here again.

Bruno is a likable guy, good knowledge about the sites. The hotel is in a great place. Good secure parking.

It's super close to the public beach at the lake. Bruno is so nice he let us use his kitchen while we stayed there! Our room was simple but comfortable and the wifi worked well.

Located at the main road. Private room with private bathroom. It’s really basic, but for the price it’s fine. There was a mosquito net as well. Me and a neighbor were both sick, so Bruno made us tea, what was really kind.

I stayed in the budget part of Bruno's place the price was right for the room, in the main part of the village close to everything, and Bruno's is a good host and very knowledgeable about many thing's.

It was a stopping off point before going to Belize. the upstairs rooms are ok but no mirrors and no bedside lights etc. it was cheap.
