“Best way to experience San Blas”

We had an amazing stay at the sailboat. Truly the best way to explore San Blas. The information we got and the islands we explored were the best. We saw amazing healthy coral reefs. Also, the food was amazing. I cannot recommend staying at this sailboat enough; it was a pleasure to experience the sailing lifestyle for three days.

Without a doubt, this was one of the best trips I’ve ever taken. The San Blas Archipelago is a true Caribbean paradise, boasting turquoise waters, beautifully secluded beaches on tiny islands, and stunning coral reefs waiting to be explored. However, this trip with Guadalupe and Esteban was so much more. You genuinely feel like part of their community and get a glimpse of what it's like to live on a boat. It's a unique experience, far away from the typical tourist crowds, allowing you to truly connect with nature.

First of all, its an amazing place, the San Blas is beautiful. I stayed with one other friend and what we loved most was that it is not just a place to stay, but the owners take you snorkling, they cook the best food, they have a small dinky (boat) where they take you to places, they made a campfire, we played vollyball, they have a paddleboard and even a gopro for underwater videos. There is an amazing coral reef!! We had an amazing experience!!

I had the honor to stay 3 nights on the sailboat “Thyra” of Guadalupe. She was a wonderful host, excellent sailor, cook and she took me to the most beautiful islands and snorkeling reefs! From the beginning to the end I felt very welcome and it was like a dream to stay in this paradise. This stay is highly recommended and it was the highlight of my trip in Panama!

Can’t recommend more highly this option to explore the glorious San Blas islands! Guadalupe and Manuel were the perfect hosts - great energy, really fun, delicious and super healthy meals. Plus 5+ years knowledge of the best islands to sail to! Thyra is an excellent boat and we slept brilliantly under the stars shining through the hatch to the cabin.

The sailing boat is very tidy and clean with an area to be outside which is very handy. Ivan and Milagros made me have a great time, we went snorkeling, fishing, to some other islands and to be bar nearby. Food is supplied the local fishermen including tuna, lobster and crab such an amazing fresh seafood prepared by Ivan with pasta, rice, boiled or even grilled, he also makes a very good ceviche

This was an absolutely spectacular trip!! The sailing boat was beautiful and very comfortable, you really don’t need much when you’re in paradise!! Guadalupe & James were amazing and made us feel at home. They knew everything about the San Blas Islands and we’re very popular with the Kuna community. James is a great chef and we all really enjoyed his food, we even took a few recipes home with us. The San Blas Islands are probably one of the last untouched and non-commercialised places on earth, I really hope it stays like this and those that visit respect and want to take care of such a beautiful place

Amazing experience visiting diferent San Blas islands! Guadalupe and Lúcio are really easy going people who get you involved with the boat life, making you feel more part of the crew than just a simple guest. This boat is the place to get a real experience.
