Beautiful location, beautiful view, we had the best time ❤️

Pleasant small cabin. As others have said it is over 1km uphill away from the back of town so you need a car/taxi. Also tricky to find down the dirt side road. But all good once you work that out.

“Beautiful & cosy stay in the woods”

Such a nice place in the woods & not far from the city centre with a beautiful walk of about 30 min. The motor taxi cost us 50 pesos to get there from the city. There is a fire place that warms up the room quickly. The host is super nice & responsive - he came over to help us set the fire 🙂 Make sure you always have the keys with you as the doors lock once you close it.

“Mixed feelings - great location but many downsides”

The cabin was cozy, and had a welcoming atmosphere to it. The balcony was over viewing the forest nearby. The indoor fireplace kept me warm throughout the night. The staff are very mindful and responsive to requests - brought me firewood, toilet paper and portable chargers in a very short time of asking.

Economic cabin in the middle of the mountains. Amazing spot. It's a good place to disconnect.

“Unforgettable experience”

We stayed in this amazing cabaña located in the middle of the forest for three nights and we were literally in paradise. This cozy cabaña surpassed our expectations. The fireplace was a delightful touch and the host was kind enough to leave firewood for us every day. The host is very attentive and responsive. This is a green haven!!! We will definitely come back! Thank you!

“Perfect !”

It’s so cosy and in the middle of the woods! It’s super silent, really beautiful and very comfortable. Make sure to always have your keys with you! We accidentally closed the door and the keys were inside so we were locked out. The owner was really helpful and came to the rescue! So service 10/10! Can really recommend! Make sure to have food with you, because you cannot cook there.

Loooved this cabin in the woods. Super calm, hidden away gem. Perfect for a quiet stay with a partner or a very close friend. Very cozy with the fire place, though bringing a lighter is highly recommended since the matched barely worked. Incredible view of the forest. Bed was very very comfortable as well.

“Magical mountain cabin”

The cabin is perfect: very private, secluded and quiet. I loved making a fire in the stove in the evening to keep warm. The balcony looks out over the trees and I could spend hours there just listening to the forest sounds. The staff were very attentive on messenger so I had everything I needed while it feeling totally private. A perfect stay!

The host is extremely nice and kind, he waited for us and organized everything very well in the very late night. The place itself is clean and beautiful. Lovely place to explore San Jose del Pacifico.

Comfy bed, very isolated location which would be great for people wanting to get close to nature. Awesome comador down the road with interesting mezcal drinks, good food, and great hosts!
