“Idyllique”

Amazing location - secluded but accessible, great beach and views. Only a handful of rooms so you feel almost alone. Enough activities nearby (tours etc) but this is the place where you're just happy to be and enjoy the location and views

The property was a boat ride away from Corong Corong pier and had 5 cottages available. Due to the small guest size, the beach felt quite private and was very beautiful and scenic. The food was plentiful and tasty, and the staff were very friendly. We stayed at the beach cottage right on the beach and it almost felt like we had the space to ourselves. Good cell service and access to wifi. We took a kayak out to Kudugman caves and snake island. We also took Tour A island hopping and had a great time. The team got us to secret lagoon before any other tours so we had the space to ourselves and despite the windy conditions, they found a calmer snorkelling spot where there was abundant fish and sea creatures. I also had a massage at the property and it was spectacular. My husband went diving with a company in town. He was able to ride along to town as other guests were leaving at the same time but had to charter the boat to bring him back to the island. Staff helped him organise this so it went smoothly but worth noting for anyone who wants to spend time in town.

Price-Quality probably the best resort in El Nido if you are looking for authenticity and 'a Room with a view'... Only 5 cabannas, so, max around 10 people staying there! Amazing! Young back-packers stay in El Nido village where they can party at night: they take day trips to the lagoons they want to visit... If you can spend (a little) more, you may want to chose Kudugman! Way closer to all lagoons, with 2 private owned boats (and a super star singing captain :) ), super comfortable beds, even airco in the room... But most important of all, a magic location! A private beach, monkeys waking you up, super friendly staff... The food is good, fresh products, the fish delivered by a local fisherman every morning... If however you are looking for a Hilton/Shangri-La experience, those people should go for another resort in El Nido where you pay 4x the price. But that was not why we came to El Nido: we came to enjoy the beautiful nature and all hidden lagoons... Thank you, Alex, for a great stay! I traveled the entire world, your little paradise goes straight into my top3 !

“Paradise”

Enjoyed every minute. A piece of paradise, perfect for resting and getting away from the hustle and bustle of life. We stayed in the family cottage on the beach and had it all to ourselves as the other 5 guests used the other beach. There are a lot of staff, attentive and lovely but not in your face. Food was amazing and plentiful. We did tour A out on the boat for half a day which was great, kayaking the big lagoon was our favourite. We will be back!

Paradise within paradise. With the mountain jungle at its back on what feels like it's own island, this intimate 5 cottage resort has an expansive terrace deck with a fairytale tree that hangs above the water and flanked on either side by two pocket sized half-moon beaches of rare golden sand not gray bonedust. They offer all the El Nido tours but time them to get you to some of the locales before the crowd. Food is fresh, delicious and abundant. My wife and I stick to greens and fish and the kitchen accomodated us beautifully. Rooms are clean. The staff handle whatever arises but more so are simply lovely. Lovely place. Lovely people. Lovely quiet vibe. This is the place to get away. We spent our honeymoon and my birthday here. The staff took it personally to help us celebrate. Will be coming back as we intend to make this our "usual" place.

“Gorgeous stay”

We have stayed at Kudugman for four nights with our 4 y/o boy. The location is amazing: we stayed at the beach cottage, so it was like having a private beach just for us. Since you can only access the place via boat from El Nido, we absolutely loved the quietness of the place. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The portion of the meals are very generous and the quality is good. We also booked tour A and C with their speed boat: the three men on the boat were very professional and took also great care of our boy, especially in a circumstance when the sea was quite rough and it was a little hard to swim back to the boat, bringing him safe back.

“Beautiful way to experience the El Nido bay in a more intimate setting”

We loved the free kayaks and explored some stunning caves nearby. The beach is pretty but not that big and has a steep drop off so not ideal for kids, but the view and the dining area on a platform in the trees is really beautiful. We paid for a half day tour - much more expensive but you get to visit some of the lagoons early before everyone arrives and the crew are very good.

We (3 adults) stayed 4 nights at Kudugman Beach Cottages and it was a wonderful experience. We were never more than 5 guests at the same time, it really seemed like being on a private island! Our rooms were big, clean and obviously very quiet as there was nobody else nearby. You can even spot monkeys in the early mornings. Even if we had lots of rain showers, this was still really enjoyable and we made good use of the beach, snorkeling equipment and kayaks to visit the caves and sandbar nearby. We also did a tour (Tour C) with Sandro and James, and beat the crowd almost on all spots and even managed to see a couple of turtles, it was incredible! All the meals were amazing, they truly have a wonderful chef who managed to deal with our various dietary requirements. But I want to say a massive thank you to the 3 wonderful girls at the bar/restaurant, Faith, Jinky and May Ann. They deserve 5 stars for their service, friendliness and beautiful smiles. Also, I suggest to all the future guests to ask them for karaoke, they will be very happy to get the mics and share a great time before or after dinner!

Stunning location, extremely friendly and helpful manager who arranged an island hopping tour for us. Simple but delicious food and drinks. We also made use of the kayak and took a trip over to snake island. Overall, the perfect place to spend a few nights!

This resort owned and run by a Filipino family has only 5 cottages and is therefore very private. The owner and manager, Alex, arranges everything to meet the wishes and needs of his guests (tours, shuttles, dives - at first glance much more expensive than in El Nido, but you have to consider that these are private tours with only 4-6 guests and the chance to visit the famous places before the boats from El Nido arrive, not only because it leaves 60-90 minutes earlier, but also because it is much closer). Lunch and dinner were always delicious. We could see the kitchen changing the menu offerings when vegan guests arrived. The location of the resort is also fantastic: there are two small, very private beaches with lots of sun loungers. The highlight is the terrace where meals are served: It is so beautifully situated and lit up in the evening. And finally, the resort is by paddle boat only 10-15 minutes away from Snake Island. The price includes breakfast, lunch and dinner; considering also the site and the privacy which is offered here, the price is more than fair.
