We had a wonderful time at Angkla Resort. The entire resort and our room were beautiful and stylish. The location was perfect - just by the beach. The food was also really good and there was a wide variety of options to choose from for breakfast and other meals. Above all, the staff were exceptional and made our stay feel very special - it was part of our honeymoon trip in the Philippines so we will remember it forever!

“Beautiful property on the best beach in el nido”

Beautiful property, much smaller than I thought! Only a dozen or so rooms. On by far the best beach in el nido. Great breakfast. Clean. Really friendly staff. We had a massage which was SO relaxing, would highly recommend! The masseuse was also sure to check in with you re the pressure which I personally find not everyone does so that was a big plus. We split our time between here and vanilla beach (the latter for atmosphere) and that worked perfectly for us.

Beautiful room, great location right on the beach. Felt private. Very classy lounge and music was great. Beach outside was beautiful. Massage was lovely. Staff was smart and responsive. The place had just the beachy vacaiton vibe we wanted. Airport transfers were well co-ordinated and we felt taken care of as soon as we landed. They gave us the corner room with view of the ocean which was lovely. Good food, lovely breakfast spread.

Nacpan beach is truly tropical paradise! The whole resort is luxurious yet laid back and we had the most relaxing 5 night stay amidst a busy trip in Asia. The staff were always so welcoming and friendly, the rooms were gorgeous, the massages were amazing and the pool and beach were postcard perfect.

“Fantastic resort in paradise”

Our stay in Angkla beach resort was the best decision we made in our time in Palawan. The hotel was beautiful, the location a dream, the food amazing and the staff super friendly and attentive. We loved every minute! We honestly had the best food in the restaurant, and even though we were here during a typhoon, we felt very well taken care of. The staff is truly incredible. Big rooms, warm showers, high-quality accomodation. Its a little slice of heaven! Would recommend to everyone thinking of spending some time up in Napcan beach.

“Remote, overpriced resort”

Overpriced, very remote hotel. None of the villas have a beach view for 27k php a night. That's indecent. Staff at restaurant does not pay attention and always deliver wrong or missed an order. Staff at reception was nice. Sauna ans spa is great. Gym is rather small, treadmill, free weights, one basic pull machine. Beach is nice. But access road to resort is a dirt mud disaster, 40min away from the city not nice. Marimegmeg offers a better beach, more central, villa sea view and closer to city. I will give Angkla a miss going forward. Not getting the value for money. Sorry for my sincerity. I had high expectations, alas...

“Lovely hotel in an amazing location with a fabulous beach”

The breakfast offering was excellent and the food generally was very good. The waitering service was the best we experienced in the whole of our trip to the Philippines where there is a general trend to have a relatively slow delivery with frequent mistakes.

Beautiful location. Food was amazing. Staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble - very helpful with arranging activities and transport. Very modern aesthetic. Such an amazing beach to watch the sunset.

“Overhyped, and over expensive!”

The view of Nacpan beach is unbeatable and your actual room is amazing. However, for what you pay and the boasted 5 stars… I don’t think it hits the mark. Staff are really hot and cold towards you. You have to pay for every single thing, nothing is cheap, especially compared to everywhere else in Philippines and El Nido. The boat hopping tour is lovely, but they pack you with food that’s hard to carry on to a boat and should NOT be left unrefrigerated (my calamari, chicken and pork were humid and sweaty from the heat). The inland tour is overly expensive and not worth it. The driver is amazing, but there is no guarantee you’ll see what you pay for (I didn’t get to do the zip line, which was the reason i booked the tour). Plus, the tour doesn’t include cost of entrance to anything. It’s very expensive and again, for 5 stars… you do expect a little bit more. It was enjoyable but if ANGKLA wants to keep people coming back, they should try a bit harder in such an environment!

One of the most beautiful hotels we stayed at!! Absolutely stunning and we are already planning to go back. Rooms are spacious and beautiful. The pool views - breathtaking! Staff exceptional

“Loved it!”

Its my second time at angkla and i loved my stay so much!! The room is just wow and i love the location! Its the best hotel in nacpan. Unfortunately a lot of sandflies so watch out!! I will defo come again for the third time. The restaurant is full on lunch time because its open for non guest, but in the evening its less crowded. Helpful staff. Maraming salamat!!!

“our White Lotus experience in the Philippines!”

I loved the people who work very hard to make your stay excellent. Really lovely people. The room is exceptional, great view to the garden which is amazing as well. The food - perfect. Cocktails, desserts, the mains - all super tasty and fresh. Best breakfasts. The beach is outstanding, the sunsets are to die for. It was mum's birthday so the restaurant staff had the cake and happy birthday prepared. I want to come back there even though I never stay twice at the same place. Actually I could live in that room for a year or more.
