Gorgeous mountain view, very quiet area, great place to relax after whole day of Turism. Near the place you have a lot of Hiking trails and beautiful villages. Staying here you will experience real gran canaria lifestyle.

If you're looking for a different experience, this is the place to be. You can have a very nice breakfast/lunch out on the terrace with an amazing view. A very nice and quiet place to stay. Amazing sunsets!

“A unusual location but ideal for us.”

Wonderful peaceful location with a friendly helpful owner. This place was just right for us, we were not looking for a luxury hotel but rather somewhere away from the crowds and close to nature. Good area for birdwatching and easy to get to other good locations too. Once you get used to the roads access is not too difficult but probably not the place to try if you are a nervous inexperienced driver. We found the effort was worth it for the unique experience. That we thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the worst weather in the Canaries for 10 years and the wettest September there in record speaks volumes for the place. We were able to watch the Queen's Funeral live on the satellite TV and the internet was fine until the worst of the storm. As others have commented, this is an unusual if not unique place to stay so you need to recognise it is remote and basic, but having said that we do hope we can return again sometime. The owner, Vincent is very friendly and helpful, We were able to meet him for a drink when we visited Maspolomas and he kept in touch to make sure we were OK during the storm.

The owner Vicente is lovely and very accommodating. He offered to collect us from the airport. We didn’t use this service as we hired a car. When communicating with him, he always answered our messages promptly. Nothing was too much trouble. The “cave” was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was lovely as previous tenants had left some basics for us to use. We in turn “paid it forward” by leaving some basics for the next tenants 😊. The shower always had ample hot water, although the pressure was a little low but nothing worth complaining about. The bedroom/ living room was spacious. We found the bed comfortable and there was enough storage for clothes. The TV reception was good as well. The BBQ area outside was great and the views were to die for. If you want peace and serenity, then this is the spot. There are several beautiful walks and hikes around the area. We are animal lovers so welcomed the visits from the kitties in the neighbourhood. Most were skittish but just happy to chill out on the patio. YOU DO NEED A HIRE CAR TO STAY HERE
