What an incredible place! We loved our 3 days here, nice and quiet, beautiful views and super relaxing! The road to it is definitely for a 4WD car! A great start to our holiday here!

“Very enjoyable place with fantastic views - we just stayed here and chilled instead of rushing round attractions”
Location is just fantastic, overlooking Arenal Lake. The staff are really helpful. Pool is a bonus! Lots of birds to see, and other wildlife sometimes too. The last km of track is a little daunting, but fine with a 4x4 and possible (at least in dry season) without 4WD. We were in room 3 which is huge with great views.

“Spectacular location not too far from town”

“A real slice of paradise”
It was a fantastic rustic lodge, with unmatched views of the Arenal area. If you have the pleasure of staying in lodge 6 and are an animal lover, please keep on treating the little black cat well. We named her Totope, and she will quite literally be an extra guest.

The location is Amazing. We saw so many birds just wow. There is a lovely pool and a nice restaurant on site.

“Peaceful stay with wildlife and beautiful view of the lake”
We loved the peaceful location. There was lots of wildlife on the property, birds, roads and giant butterflies were a highlight. The view of the lake was incredible and the pool was great. Rooms were spacious and we loved the covered patio at the back

“Amazing views”
Location is amazing! Perfect to get away from busy (and kind of uggly) La Fortuna, while still being close to the Arenal Volcano park entrance. Rooms are not fancy but comfortable, and the views, garden and swimming pool more than make up for it. There is a restaurant (and even massage place) on site so you don’t always need to take your car in the evening for dinner if you don’t feel like it. Best to have at least SUV to get there.

“Great Place to Stay!”
1. The views were absolutely spectacular! 2. The sounds of nature was music to our ears! 3. The breakfast in the morning was delicious! 4. The staff, especially at reception, were extremely helpful in coordinating and booking activities. If done through reception, there was a discount. 5. Very responsive when communicating on WhatsApp 6. Loved the views from the pool. 7. Very peaceful!

“Fine !!”
It is a beautiful place but unfortunately we were there with rain and big wind so no electricity for a few hours obviously not their fault but for the price and place you would think that they would have a back up with generator! We still had a nice dinner with Gordon the owner and the staff were great ! Candle light dinner :) the electricity came back during the night . I am sure with a sunny and hot day that place would be perfect.

“Lovely and wonderful”
The staff went out of their way to help us, when we got delayed due to a delayed flight. The rooms are clean and nice, and the small restaurant below the hotel are a great little treasure with the kindest people ❤️
