“Amazing stay and the owner was extremely friendly. However make sure you have cash to pay.”
Extremely clean. Cosy and amazing facilities. Very quiet. Brilliant range of amenities and we were made to feel at home immediately by the owner. Owner was extremely welcoming and gave us a painting gift at the end of our stay. The owner only accepted cash payments but was extremely accommodating in giving us time to pay and obtain cash.

“Could not have been better”
You find everything in the apartment you need and even more. We felt very welcome. José Maria took us even to the supermarket after we arrived quite late. The next day he helped us again. It was one of the best experiences we had so far in Argentina. We had a very good time.

“Lovely stay with an even lovelier host.”
Jose Maria, the host, is a gem. He has thought of every single detail. He laid out different soaps, shampoos, candies, teas, everything you could think of. He is what makes the place so special. We came out to leave the property early and he had noticed our tire had a flat. He was gracious enough to get down and help us change the tire as well as accompany us to the mechanic to get the tire repaired. As we were leaving he made sure to give us a few tips as well as make sure our windshield was clean and clear. I would recommend accommodation to absolutely everyone coming to the area. The rooms were nice, inviting, and again the host was as lovely as could be.

“Loveliest hosts and cozy apartment”
This was one of the best stays we had in the region. The host Jose Maria was extraordinary. The apartment is warm and cozy. It has a view on the garden and you have a view over the lake as well. You can get plenty of useful tips from the owner. Would definitely return if we come to Calafate again.

Really nice owner who gave us great taxi contacts, food recommendations and a personal tour of the town. The property is comfortable and authentic and well maintained. WiFi was surprising good at this property.

“EXCELLENT hospitality, by all means! Bravo!”
We loved the warmness of the hosts and their kindness. They put themselves in the shoes of the guests and they provide everything a guest would expect to find in an apartment, when staying for some days. I thought that really high level of hospitality could be found mainly in Greece! Now, I know that the hosts of Sono Lugar are as good as visiting my family in Greece!!
